I was hesitant at first, however our server was highly knowledgeable when I mentioned being celiac, and discussed their protocols to avoid cross contamination before I even had a chance to ask. They keep sauces and ingredients for popular dishes seperate, and have a dedicated prep station.

Ordered delivery and it was actually horrible. The pizza was dry with almost no mozzarella. Not at all like previous BP pizza I’ve had. I’ve never had a pizza so gross before it was almost inedible. The oven baked wings were a bit better but burned. The worst was the next morning when I realized this $50 meal for 1 person glutened me. Never again.

I’m usually very cautious with big chain restaurants, but pleasantly surprised at this Boston Pizza. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about celiac disease and cross contamination risks. I had a “gluten wise” pizza - she assured me it was prepared separately and then baked on its own clean pan. Same goes for their oven baked wings.

They are gluten friendly, they do their best to ensure cross contamination is at a low. However there is no specific gf prep area or fryer so cross contamination is very possible

Staff are VERY Committed to providing ALLERGY-FREE (INTOLERANCE-FREE) foods!!! I dine here (and at other local locations) often. I’m gluten-free AND dairy-free so eating out with meat options is nearly impossible. I am not vegan but often have to eat at vegan restaurants but Boston Pizza provides an amazing alternative. My go to meals are steak with plain broccoli or g/f pizza with cheeze.

Had the gluten wise clubhouse and gluten wise Caesar salad. Clubhouse came on a gf bun that was toasted on its own in the oven. Caesar salad came with bacon bits and no croutons. Server was knowledgeable. Menu states “gluten wise” not gf because their kitchen is obviously not 100% gf.

Not a safe option. Their gluten friendly pizza shares a line with gluten pizza and other prep. Chicken wings share a fryer but marked gluten free. It’s a shared fryer for all fried foods. I got Cesar salad without croutons (marked gluten free allergy etc) and their grilled chicken (which isn’t grilled there just rewarmed) still got a bum tum from it.

Absolutely do not trust any Boston Pizza. Their biggest priority is getting the food out quick, NOT your allergies or concerns. The kitchens are just not set up to be conscience of cross contamination, nor do the kitchen staff care enough to even try. Absolute gamble if you eat here.

Very hit or miss, especially with take out. They have a gluten wise section for online ordering which is great! However, when you mention it is for someone with celiac disease and would like for them to be careful with cross contamination and put the gluten wise items in a separate take out bag they only do it 50% of the time. It depends on who’s working. It shows that they’re not always paying attention to allergy requirements. Also, they have forgotten a side 80% of the time I have gotten take out there. The servers seem very knowledgeable about gluten allergies and cross contamination but sometimes the orders are wrong. If you notice your order is wrong that means they were busy in the kitchen and not safe with your order. Every time I have had my order slightly wrong I have gotten a reaction. Usually it is a safe place to eat but lately it hasn’t been.

At Boston pizza (no matter where you are) never order online when you have a gluten allergy/intolerance/celiac. They don’t care! I’ve come out of eating in the restaurant with very minimal damage, so it’s honestly a last case scenario.

I’ve gone to this location twice now to eat and wanted to make sure I didn’t have a reaction before posting my review. I say I have a severe gluten allergy that can make me very sick because not everyone knows what celiac is- so I like to get my point across about cc in the kitchen.
Both times I ordered the royal Hawaiian pizza on the cauliflower crust. It was delicious I had to confirm it was gluten free! (But it’s easy to tell because it’s smaller than their “small”)
Every precaution was taken & I felt great after eating both times!!
When you go in the restaurant their pizzas on the menu tell you which ones have gluten free toppings and are available in gf crust. (It says right under each specialty pizza) I wish the app for ordering online let you do that but it will only let you create your own pizza with 4 toppings. Hopefully Boston pizza can fix that!

I had my first ever gluten free pizza from Boston pizza. I was such a fan of their regular crust version and was a bit worried that it would be a major drop off.
I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty this pizza was. The toppings were just as great as a regular pizza from here and the crust/bread was delicious and tasted just fine.
I’ll be ordering another order again soon.
