I had a great meal. They had a gluten free menu. Ordered salmon and baked potato. I had no issues

In the few times I’ve been here it’s been difficult but not impossible. If a manager is there I recommend asking for a manager to walk through allergies with because they’re more knowledgeable. The “gluten free menu” just a list of all their ingredients and sides with their list of allergens so you have to cross check with the menu. I normally end up with chicken and a potato. You have to be pretty clear with the waitstaff about the allergy and what that entails as far as cooking but they are always friendly, receptive, and cautious.

I have eaten here a couple of times. They do a really great job of keeping me safe. My children and I have celiac disease. They are super careful. Waitress has a sibling that has celiac.

Not safe. We had a basic steak and potatoes. Asked waitress to please direct kitchen to be careful. They were not. Made us super sick with contamination. If you are a celiac, this is not safe for you. Go elsewhere.

This was the best GF experience we have had. They had a menu available for us to look at all ingredients, the waitstaff and kitchen were knowledgeable and helpful. We are still new to the GF game, and this was the 1st time in 3 months our daughter has been able to eat a complete meal in public like a regular person, with no worries. Highly recommend!!!

Messages this restaurant through Facebook asking about GF options. Some friends had asked to take us here. Jenny responded and stated there could accommodate with some Items and if I asked for her specifically she’d take care of me. The grilled shrimp and salmon are sage. They said they cleaned an area of the grill, due to cross contamination, to ensure it was ok. I ordered the salmon w/loaded baked potato. Had peanuts to snack on, similar to TX Roadhouse. The salmon was amazing! Smoked and huge portion served with a raspberry chipotle sauce. Very accommodating, friendly, service. We did call ahead on a Saturday night, hour wait so make sure to do that! The waitress’ best friend also has celiac so she was aware of issues. She even asked if rolls could be at the table.

I have had a good experience every time I’ve eaten here. I always get the mesquite grilled chicken but you could also get a steak or another type of grilled chicken. I also get salad without croutons and I have never had a reaction to any of the food. Sadly they don’t have gluten free rolls but other then that 10/10 recommend

I’ve dined here a few times now when in town with family. With my assortment of allergies (wheat/gluten, tree nuts, coconut, broccoli and soy being the hardest to accommodate) I have very few options here. Grateful they not only can accommodate, but willing to, without feeling like it’s an inconvenience. I’ve always spoken with manager before I order here.

I see on the app that it’s reported to have a gluten free menu, but I wasn’t given one. Nor was I offered one after I mentioned Celiac’s. What I can say is that my waiter was on top of it. Even told me that he’ll let the kitchen know to use fresh utensils to eliminate cross contamination. I ordered the mashed potatoes and the grilled chicken with broccoli and it was delicious. I was super stoked by how knowledgeable the waiter was. Shows he knows the job.

I ordered there. They were very accommodating but the offer of GF was very limited. Ordered a steak, baked potato and steamed broccoli. Very dry and flavorless. The price you pay for a GF dinner. Very disappointing.

My experience today was my first outing as Celiac. I was nervous to say the least. Our server was new, I asked about GF items, (she wasn't sure), then to see a manager regarding my allergy. She came out with GF menu! Steak, chicken, ribs, sides...so many great options! She instructed the cooks to clean, change gloves, the works! What could have been a horrible experience, was perfect. I didn't go during a rush, which gave them time to accommodate my needs accordingly. I WILL be back! Thank you to the staff at Coltons in Muskogee, OK! ***I did NOT get sick***

Their version of a gluten free menu is a complicated list of EVERYTHING on the menu, which you have to flip through to find the specific ingredients in each dish. Plus, the list was filthy and the server had no clue what their procedures were.

Not celiac friendly. Their gluten free menu was a dirty set of papers with columns down it saying whether an item contained gluten or wheat. On some items they’d say an item contained wheat but not gluten, contradicting themselves. P
The waitress was very nice and checked on us often but she had 0 knowledge of what gluten even was. They had a Gluten free menu that I ordered off of and then she promptly brought me a basket of rolls (not gluten free rolls) and a salad with croutons. I sent them both back and she returned my salad with crumbs from the crutons still in it (apparently they were picked out). I wound up not eating the salad due to fear of it being returned with spit if I sent it back again. I had a steak and it was very good along with a baked potato. The next day I was sick. I don't ordinarily react to like cross-contamination soI'm certain that either they have some serious cross-contamination going on back in the kitchen or they seasoned my steak with something that was not gluten free. All in all the food did taste good but it's just not worth the risk.

Everything we had was amazing and they have a gluten free menu. Trail potatoes, sirloin and grilled shrimp with smashed potatoes plus Caeser salad (no croutons) and ribeye, Caeser salad and fresh green beans for him.
I had a bad experience here. The staff was great but I got extremely sick from the steak. Everything I ordered was supposed to be gluten free.

I was in the area for my son's First Leonard Wood graduation and came to this place with hesitency. I can't eat gluten, but my husband and sons can and do. I was hesitent due to the single review calling the ribeye "mediocre". There is a gluten free menu. I had a bunless burger that was hot and fresh and very, very tasty. Also a side salad, which was fresh and great. The others had steak and shrimp meals. The ribeye, my son rated 4/5 and said it was delicious. The sirloin and shrimp, my husband rated 5/5. The steaks, if course, are gluten free but the shrimp was breaded. Tasted the sirloin, so tender and good!
Great experience overall!

They did an awesome job of making sure we could safely eat. They have a sheet listing gluten free items, many choices. They cut steaks specifically for our orders so they would not be marinated. Wyatt who answered my questions so patiently before we arrived and Sierra our server were excellent.

I have eaten here before and did okay. But, this time it was unsafe. I asked for and received the GF menu. I requested the Caesar salad as a side without croutons, which is on their GF menu. It came to the table and after two bites I found a soggy crouton in the salad. I think they premix the salad with croutons and pick them out. I told the waitress and she apologized and offered to make another salad for me, which I refused. Now I’m already sick and regretting eating here.
No
My husband and I had dinner here the first night we were in town and it was ok. Had a ribeye and it was mediocre as there were no seasonings on the meat. As this was one of two places in town for a gluten free person to eat we went back the next day with family and I had the loaded chicken ( minus mushrooms) and that was seasoned beautifully and I had the loaded smashed potatoes and those were good. They do have a big gluten free menu but make sure you specify that you are ordering off the gf menu and if you get anything off the menu that has parentheses to the side ask for that to be left off. On a side note service is slow so expect to be there awhile.

Colton’s Steak House was a nice find for a GF steakhouse. The manager is knowledgeable and can accommodate GF. I ordered a chopped Sirloin steak with a baked sweet potato and side salad. The steak was huge and cooked just as I ordered, medium rare. The portion sizes were very ample and tasty. My husband does not need to eat GF so he ordered chicken fried steak with homemade mashed potatoes which he said was delicious. The portions were huge. The cost of the two dinners were $27.00.The only negative was the waitress who seemed irritated that we asked a lot of questions to find out if we could safely eat there. She was not knowledgeable about eating gluten free but feel like the manager will educate the staff about gluten and avoiding cross contamination. We will definitely try this restaurant again.

Acted scared when I ask for gf menu. We will see
Had the grilled chicken salad without croutons. Got glutened! Bloated and throwing up all night. I have had it there before with no issues.

They did have a pretty good selection for gluten-free options. Not celiac friendly bc there is a disclaimer they cook in the same area and can't guarantee no cross contamination. The food however was VERY dry and the wait was long to get the food.
No
Have some gluten free options. Really tasty potato soup.
the service was horrible waited over an hour for food and it was not super busy either. when I asked for the gluten free menu they took away the regular menu that explained what things were and how much those items were. I found several other things that were gf and cheaper than the items listed. I do not recommend this restaurant!

They now have a gluten free menu! And it's really good! I ate here before the gf menu and they were knowledgeable then, but definitely nice to have a great variety of listed gf items! Plus there's hardly ever a wait to be seated! Usually have really good service too:)
