My celiac son had the cauliflower pizza and I had gf shrimp Alfredo. Both were delicious. Neither of us had any reaction.

Gluten free pasta was nasty and it wasn’t even listed on the menu I knew they offered because of other reviews
Got glutened. Really thought it'd be fine. They even said they were preparing it separate from the other stuff. Must've used toppings from shared bins or something.

I stopped in here out of curiosity today, since their outdoor menu referenced a cauliflower crust, and they had some great pizza options. The staff at the front said they take additional precautions for gluten allergies. Ordered and the pizza was delicious - will be back.

Baked ziti - delicious!
Gf Pizza with vegetables was incredible. Very similar to a Northern Italian pizza. Best crust ever!
The manger was so friendly and helpful. He went through the entire menu of gluten free options.
Insalata Calabrese - Fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, and sweet basalmic
Very nice experience!

Can eat in. Has been very much improved.
Important to specify GF to waitstaff so they can explain the two types of GF crust. We prefer crispy and they prepare it perfectly. We visit regularly without problems. If ordering house salad remind no flatbread to accompany. Very good GF pasta dishes too, but this is our go-to for pizza. Charming waitstaff.

Had an amazing experience here with my husband and two boys with Celiac disease. Was able to order a GF pizza for one of my sons and the other had pasta. What hit the spot was the GF focaccia bread. It was SO good. Neither of my boys got sick here and tons of GF pizza and pasta options.

I wanted to love this place. The food was OK. We didn’t chance the pizza and ordered the pasta. I emphasized that it was an allergy. The sauce was decent but the pasta was overcooked and mushy. HOWEVER, my daughter’s food was brought out and I noticed it was a different sauce. I questioned it, but she was starving so I went with it. Two bites in the server came over to say that there was a mixup with a to-go order and she had been given regular pasta. He apologized and fortunately caught it quickly but I am waiting to see what impact it will have. No the best start to our vacation.

We came here for the GF pizza but I knew it was probably not going to be safe unless they have a separate oven. They don’t. I spoke to them for a while before finally deciding to play it safe and just order pasta while the rest of my family had pizza. They also told me that their fried onions and cauliflower toppings are fried with other breaded items, so don’t pick those toppings. Additionally, the meatballs have bread crumbs in them. But they said the pasta sauces were all GF.
Family said the pizza was awesome. I had baked ziti and while the cheese topping was great, I had to add a lot of salt and pepper to my sauce. It wasn’t bad tho and best part was that I didn’t even get a twinge. They serve wine and beer as well.

Went here and the waitress said she really wouldn’t trust anything in the place. “Maybe the pasta, but the sausage in the meat sauce may or may not be gluten free”. Asked the cook if the pizza was in a separate oven and he said no it’s all in the same oven.

SUPER AWESOME!! My daughter and I ate here and both got pizza. They seemed very knowledgeable about gluten and how to stay safe so she wouldn’t get sick. The cauliflower crust was great.

My experience was amazing. I am celiac and our waiter, Fernando, was so kind when I asked for gluten free and continuously checked on us throughout the night! I ordered the gluten free fettuccine alfredo and a side of the gluten free dipping bread. It was INCREDIBLE. The bread was warm and chewy and the pasta was so incredible I ate every bite. The service was wonderful and I will definitely be returning!

My daughter is newly diagnosed with celiac. We found this place using this app and it was next to our condo we had rented for vacation. The food was so good and my daughter ordered the gluten-free penne pasta and really enjoyed it. They also offer cauliflower crust, gluten free pizza.

This place is not safe for anyone with celiac disease they throw flour all over the place and it's highly cross contaminated no change of gloves or even wearing gloves they also don't have a separate cutter I ordered and saw them prepare the food and canceled my order right away sad but still no gluten free pizza here

Service wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t great. When I asked about gluten free she exclaimed that they offered gluten free noodles and pizza crust. I informed her that it was an allergy and that I needed her to be 100% sure. She came back and told me she read the ingredients of everything and that it “should” be ok although she wasn’t really sure what gluten was. I ordered the chicken pesto pasta and the tomato soup. The soup was amazing. My noodles were not fully cooked. We also had issues ordering drinks during happy hour and my friend was brought lemons for her dos when she specifically asked for limes and for her beer to be dressed which it wasn’t. I won’t be returning, although I heard really good things about it. I’m pretty sure I did get cross contamination.

Called first and asked about gf options. They offered gf penne pasta, cooked separately for pasta dishes ordered gf. When I came in and ordered they advised that gf pizzas are baked in a separate pizza oven then others Very aware of cc issues. Will be back this trip.

Used the app to find Russo’s while visiting Galveston Island from out of town. Our family of four (3 with Celiac and 1 with an additional peanut/tree nut allergy) had the GF pepperoni pizza, chicken Alfredo pasta, and pasta Primavera. All were absolutely delicious! So good we went back for a second time the following night!! Confirmed they cook their GF penne pasta in separate water and have a separate prep area in the kitchen for GF. Our bill was around $80 (before tip) for food, 3 pops, and a glass of wine. Would highly recommend this location!

The Mediterranean salad is absolutely delish, they also have a truffle mushroom sauce if you don't want standard pasta sauce with your pizza for pesto and gluten-free medium size. My understanding from the counter waitresses that they prepare the pizza in a separate oven for celiac friendly as well as prepackaged cheese's
They have Pizza! It's pretty good. That is the only thing I have eaten in here. Be sure to ask them for GF dipping bread when they bring the bread and oil out for the table. I think it is just a pizza crust, but it is still good.
Yes
Had a veggie gf pizza. The server was knowledgeable and also made sure counters were wiped off and changed gloves. I didn’t get sick.
Yes
Worst gluten free pizza I have ever had.
The food was great and safe but it took them 20 minutes in between pizzas and by the time everyone else got there pizza mine was cold

My daughter and I are Celiac. Split the Mediterranean GF pizza and chicken GF pasta kale salad. No reactions that either of us notices over 2 days. Staff not real knowledgeable about GF on the phone and has to speak with a manager who seamed somewhat knowledgeable. I would probably have it again but would go at an odd time just to be safe.
Came with Celiac spouse for GF lunch. She had pizza. Was really tasty. Nima sensored the pizza, was 100% GF. No issues.
Yes
Server was nice and knowledgeable. They brought us GF Focaccia bread ($2) for an appetizer- delicious! We got GF Pizzas: grilled chicken & pepperoni. They were both good- not the best we’ve ever had, but great for our hungry tummies. :)
Had GF pasta that was excellent. Great service. Would recommend.

Ordered their pizza to my hotel room after 10 hours of redeye air travel with no food. It was pricey, but man it hit the spot! They told me upfront that delivery would take an hour, it was worth the wait. Non-celiac gluten intolerant.
They have gf crusts, a variety of toppings, and are very accommodating and knowledgeable. The price is somewhat high for the portion size, but otherwise it’s good.
Good gluten free pizza. Not sure about level of cross contamination, but they seem pretty knowledgeable.
Gluten free options clearly marked on the menu including several kinds of pasta, salad dressings and pizza crust. The server brought our kids GF pasta with regular bread (oops!) so be sure to express your gluten intolerance or Celiac disease very clearly to your server. She said they have dedicated cooking space in the pizza oven. Good vegetarian options as well.

This is not a celiac friendly restaurant in any way. If you have true celiac, stay away!

pizza was good, no reaction
great place I'm celiac and they double checked everything. love Russo's.
Great GF pizza...it’s a thin crust that has a nice crunch to the crust while it is soft, but not chewy, under the toppings. Team at the Myerland (Houston) location seem knowledgeable enough about GF offerings — both the crust and the toppings.
Has a special place for cooking GF noodles and pizza. Checked items before putting them into the salad or pizza to make sure that they where GF. Also they serve alcohol. The sample of wine is enough to lessen a reaction from cross contamination if their are any accidents.

I love being able to get pizza delivered.
Yes, they have gluten-free pizza crust and pasta... but the staff doesn't have gluten free knowledge. When I asked for a pasta dish to be made with gf pasta, and tried to confirm that the rest of the dish would be gf, the manager wasn't sure and went back to check with the cooks. When he came back, he said they weren't sure either. He then tried to explain that they don't know anything about gluten free diets or how to be gluten-friendly, and that they need training. He then asked me if I knew how he would go about getting educated in gluten-free menu items. So... I spent a bit of my meal looking online for websites for him to look at. Other than the lack of knowledge (which is most important), the food was delicious...
