Ordered takeout here from uber eats! 100% gluten free. I got the sesame bowl. tofu was delish. It was overall pretty good though some of the veggies felt slightly undercooked, maybe personal preference. special spicy sauce was yummy. good option for gf takeout in bk

The sauces and fried chcken are to die for. I'm so pleased to have found a solid, safe gluten free fix for that craving. Dedicated gluten free, everything on menu is gluten free, but similar to another reviewer, I had no problems with any bowls or fried chicken alone but I also had a mild reaction to the sweet potato noodles... Perhaps something about how they prepare or store...

If you go in person it’s a little daunting because it’s part of a food hall. No fear. Every restaurant has their own kitchen and Moon Bowls is all gluten free. Love their spicy fried chicken bowl. Never gotten sick.

Since everything on the menu is gluten-free, I was able to explore and enjoy the menu without any concerns at all. I just got what I wanted without making any sacrifices, and I enjoyed it thoroughly! This location is a bit unusual. It is essentially a warehouse that has many restaurants behind closed doors. You place your order either online or on one of the screens in the lobby, and then it is completed and placed in a locker for you to pick up. You can either eat in the small lobby area or take it to go. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I felt great afterwards.

I’ve been eating moonbowls regularly for the last year and the only thing I’ve ever had a reaction to is the Sweet Potato Noodles. My favorite meal to get is the fried chicken platter over brown rice with broccoli and sweet potatoes. The sweet barbecue sauce and the spicy gojuchang sauce are both great as well. As a previous comment mentions, the place is a shared kitchen but a lot of the options in that kitchen are gluten free and they always have the option to note any allergies for the sake of caution. Note: The best user experience here is to order through the Moonbowls app directly rather than the Forrest Website.

According to website, this is 100% gluten free. It is pick up or food delivery only (we order delivery directly on the Moonbowls site vs DoorDash). It is located in the same industrial kitchen as Ben’s Fast Food and others. The food is really good- I had the chicken and egg bowl, and the egg was perfect. Cauliflower and ranch was excellent. A lot of variety on the menu, which is so nice for a celiac. Our friends who are not gluten free also really like it, so good place to order from for a mixed crowd. Highly recommend

Everything is gluten free and comes out of a ghost kitchen. Not sure how that works, but I’ve never had an issue with CC. There is no seating or anything, but the pricing is reasonable and the food is delicious. I love the sweet chicken kimchi.

Food seems flavourful. I’ve texted them couple of times and confirmed ingredients are gluten free (even sou sauce) and the kitchen space isn’t shared with another facility. I just saw a review here, from 2 yrs ago, which stated kitchen space is shared so I’m a bit confused.

This is my first time at this location and it is like the others such that it is a ghost kitchen set up. I have never had issues and the food is great! I did get a mixup with my order, but they were quick to resolve it! I got ordered the cauliflower gochujang wings, but I received the sweet potatoes. They quickly refunded the difference. I was debating between the wings and the sweet potatoes, so it worked out! I also got their sweet chicken kimchi bowl- I will definitely be going back!

Moonbowls is inside a food hub. It states that its dedicated gluten free. The food was delicious (I chose the build-your-own bowl) and I did not have a reaction (I'm very sensitive). There are vegan options as well. I can't wait to go back!

So happy to have this as a take out option! I opted for a custom bowl and it was really yummy. My (non gf) partner got a bowl as well and really enjoyed it. The bowls are big - you get a ton of food. Completely gluten free and delicious!

This is a TAKE OUT ONLY location, you can't dine in at all. You place an order online, go to the pickup location about 20 mins later, check in on the tablet, and a locker door opens with your order.

At first I was freaked out because you don't interact with any actual people. But the food was super good and filling! It comes in an eco friendly bowl and everything is customizable. There are so many safe options it was kind of overwhelming. We could've easily had food from here all week with no repeats. Very healthy too, lots of options for any food allergy or preference!

Dedicated GF. Smaller storefront just opened on Clark. The owner is so nice, there’s no seating inside and it’s like a ghost kitchen type of thing but not exactly, because food is cooked onsite and you just take it to go but there’s no seating. It’s a lovely little place and the food is so good, right by the lakefront parks so you can take it to go and eat outside. The cauliflower wings are insane. To die for. Prices not bad either bc they always have promo codes! And rewards programs! Worth going in!

My husband and I ordered dinner from here while in from out of town. It tasted good and more importantly did not make me sick. I built my own bowl with brown rice, flash fried cauliflower, ginger garlic sauce, roasted broccoli, peppers, onions, and arugula. We didn’t realize at first that this is not an eat in restaurant. Instead, it’s many restaurants in one building that allow you to order online and then pick up shortly after through a locker. I felt a little uneasy just because I would have liked to double check with a cook or server that everything was safe for me, but that wasn’t really an option. If we go again, I may send them an email just to make sure their kitchen is separate from others that use gluten for peace of mind.
