Is it celiac safe? Definitely. I would give it 5 stars just for that. But the burgers are just not that great. They’re tiny and dry and flavorless. I love the GF options but at the end of the day a Burger needs to be delicious. The fries are pretty good. Overall the menu is pretentious (real bacon never bored anyone, no thanks on the duck bacon) but I can always find something to eat.
Safe! I didn’t get sick after! had a beef burger on the GF bun and it was good. The bun is a little dense, but I'm not complaining considering it didn't fall apart and had good flavor! Compared to the other stuff that's out there, it was great! Fries, sauces and almost all sides are safe for GF too.
Sometimes gluten free but usually not. They will tell you that they'll try or that it will be gluten free but it probably won't be.
They seem to have a ton of options, but we’ve ordered burgers with gluten free buns from them twice and both times our Nima sensor found gluten.
I have gotten sick here 2x. The first time my food was clearly cross contaminated and I got sick. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and went back one more time for brunch. My eggs came out with regular bread. When I told the waiter they needed to make me a whole new dish because I had celiac he brought back another plate a little too quickly. I asked if it was new food and he said yes. I got sick anyhow and I suspect they did not actually change the food and just changed the bread which had already you had the eggs. Never again
I ordered a collard green wrapped burger with fries and I got sick. I specifically told the guy who took my order that I had a gluten and dairy allergy and to PLEASE make sure that they changed their gloves and the food was prepped on a clean surface. Something went wrong and I’ve been sick for 2 days. Sucks because I’ve eaten here a few time before without issues but it’s not worth the risk again. It’s clearly hit or miss
Had the farmburger which is a mix of sweet potato, wild rice and kale wrapped in Swiss Chard. Fabulous. No reaction. Food-wise, all the taste of a burger without that beef hangover (feeling too full). Looking forward to going again!
Great experience and great food! The menu says their restaurant “is not suitable for those with celiac disease” - but I took my chances and was fine! Server was very good with communicating to the cooks I had celiac. The GF bun is delicious! French fries and sweet potato fries are done in their own fryer - so they are good to go! :)
New location, but excellent number of gluten free options and very positive allergy protocols policy, including changing gloves and use of dedicated fryers! Also an excellent selection of vegan milkshakes that are “free from,” as well as a chocolate flourless cake. My celiac baby and myself (also celiac) were very happy with our meals as well as my spouse and other two kids who are not!
i brought in from here on two separate occasions...my nima found gluten both times. the first time they were responsive & offered a gift card so i should give them a second chance. i never received it, but tried again. another fail. and no response. stay away.
Great gluten free options, great food. This was the first time my sister had ever had a milkshake (she was 16). Nice that they have gf fries too...I am so tired of not being able to get fries with my meals at most places. Definitely recommend!
This is the only place I’ve been that I feel comfortable having a burger and fries... It’s pricey but worth it when the craving strikes!
GF and vegan options. Great burgers and knowledgable staff, well worth the visit.
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I eat here on a semi regular basis and have never had a single issue. Plus the food is delicious. I really misses this type of good quality casual American food. Plus there is something for everyone, from celiac friendly vegan burgers to Celiac friendly super carnivore/paleo options. Thanks, Bare Burger staff. ❤️
Knowledgeable staff that was able to catch something that wasn’t gluten free; dedicated fryer; delicious gf bun and burger!! I ended up making my own burger to minimize cross contamination and it was incredible. Beef, aged cheddar, leaf lettuce, and tomato on a gf bun.
Deleicious food!! So many GF options and everything on menu is marked clearly. Dedicated fryer for their frys and staff is knowledgeable about gf. We loved it so much while visiting that we came back again before we left town!
Very knowledgeable about gluten free options - and entire menu is marked. All sauces are GF. They have a GF bun and a collard green wrap which I love most. Dedicated fryer for both regular and sweet potato fries. We love this place!!
Lots of gluten-free options. Delicious gluten-free bun. Flourless chocolate cake available as well. Dedicated gf fryer.
Fairly large selection of gluten free breakfast options. Ended up getting the American burger and the gluten free bun was hands down the best gluten free bun I have ever had. It was very soft I think it had to be a tapioca bun. I usually get my burgers on a lettuce wrap bc I don’t enjoy eating a sponge as my bread but I would def opt for the bun on the next time. Gluten free tater tots fries and sweet potato fries with dedicated fryer. No reaction or bubble gut.
The Beyond Burger is quite good for a meatless burger. Items are listed as GF or Veg on the menu. They warn of cross contamination in the kitchen and I think there is. I ordered the Beyond Burger and sweet fries and immediately had a headache, however my wife ordered the same burger and regular fries 2 days before and didn't feel glutened.
Great burger for celiac daughter, but fries arent gf. Son with egg allergy got vegan bun for his burger, and server sermed very knowledgeable about items. Shakes sounded great.. Wish we got them as 16 Handles fro-yo in mall beneath us was a dissapointment.
Dedicates french fry fryer and bun toaster A little over priced
Friendly server (Jason?) explained their GF options. Had a delicious bison burger on the GF bun with napa slaw on the side. Special sauce for the burger was very tasty. Fries are marked GF on menu but I didn’t ask about a dedicated fryer since I had the slaw.
