Got the help of the amazing manager to see if he could come up with a GF wings option, which I was craving for. He got all the boxes out of the kitchen, I was able to read all ingredients (medium sauce and spices are ok). He said to order smoked wings, cause they are baked in the oven, and to ask to mix in a new clean bowl for the spices. Can’t wait to try them!!

Asked for gluten free options. They gave us a salad option. Thought we'd try it. Got the cesar with grilled chicken, with no croutons. The waitress seemed pretty sure and reassuring that it would be fine. I was pretty disapointed when I saw croutons on the salad for my celiac daughter. Would not recommend.

Had the wings cooked in the oven. Non-gluten and it was good. Also had bacon burger with no roll and come slaw. Waitress was great and took my concerns very seriously. Felt comfortable eating here and didn’t get sick after. Only a few options-baked wings. Seafood and salads.

I had a great experience two times at this hooters. My waitress was amazing (can’t remember her name) she has celiac too. She recommended the salad add grilled shrimp and it was delicious! I hate having to order salads but this one was delish and no reaction! Also had crab legs the second time and again no reaction!

Staff was unknowledgeable of gluten free. They accidentally served me a regular hamburger bun oppose to a gluten free one. Even though I questioned the bun after it was served to me. Making sure I was eating gluten free food. Definitely would not recommend going here!

I looked online for the allergen list. Specifically stated what I could have and was sick within 30 minutes. It is not worth the risk.

They have a piece of paper in the kitchen that lists what can be prepared gf. They have Steamed Shrimp (1/2 or 1 lb), Crab (1 lb), or a spinach and shrimp salad. But they cannot guarantee cross contamination from the kitchen..

This location is knowledgeable about Celiac Disease and the precautions to take to make sure the food is not cross contaminated. The food is prepared in a different part of the kitchen too. My kids and I have Celiac Disease and have never gotten sick at this location.

Managers and staff are completely unknowledgeable about gluten free. I looked online and found an allergen list online, which stated whether or not things contained gluten, before we decided to eat here. When I arrived I asked for a gluten free menu or allergen list. Not only do they not have one, the manager told me that I could eat off of the lower calorie menu. (Low calorie is no where close to the same as gluten free.) after showing him the allergen list I found online at hooters.com, he was surprised and said he has never seen it. Make sure you ask plenty of questions and make sure they inform the kitchen staff of your allergy!! I ended up getting the smoked wings with bbq rub and fries with no seasoning. The fries are cooked in a separate frier and the smoked wings are never fried.

Hooters has a variety of their menu items that can be made gluten free. They include their grilled chicken, fish and hamburger. Most of their seafood also can be done gluten free. Make sure to order without the seafood boil. The salads are can also be ordered gluten free. Unfortunately at this time their wings cannot be ordered gluten free. However was pleased with the various menu items I could order. Have been there a few times for gluten free and enjoyed the food. It was very tasty!

Personally I would love to give Hooters no less than 4 star for wings & hot sauce but this app is for GF foods. My husband is Celiac. He was not happy with my choice to eat here. Server was very good but not knowledgeable about GF. (Which really surprises me with such a popular chain) but she did give us Hooters GF menu.My carnivor eating husband left cranky and hungry. He had gotten 1/2lb steamed shrimp. Said ours tasted better at home cooking from raw frozen and would not have cost half as much. Please note on Hooters GF menu neither ketchup or cocktail sauce is listed for shrimp dip. Hooters is basically a GF coleslaw or salad with 2 choice dressings and unless you want to break the bank for a small appetizer and eat somewhere else, I wouldn't suggest it.
