IHOP has recently started serving gluten-free pancakes, waffles, and burgers with gluten-free buns.
Very yummy pancakes and great service! I got the pancake combo and really enjoyed it!

The gf (gluten friendly) pancakes are yummy and I’ve never had an issue. I learned that if their egg dishes don’t have a “G” for gluten free, that means the egg used is mixed with pancake batter. I appreciated the Server explaining this. She said to ask for “real eggs” in dishes that don’t actually say, “G.” I had the SW Bowl with real eggs and didn’t have any issues. This also came with two gf pancakes. All very yummy.

I have severe celiacs and I’ve never gotten sick here. I eat the pancakes or waffles with shell eggs. They throw a little wheat in if you don’t ask for shell.

They have GF icons for classic option. I had the pancake combo that comes with eggs, hash brown, bacon/sausage or ham with 2 gf pancake. Our server didn’t know a lot about celiac tho..

This may be obvious to many Celiacs to not eat at IHOP… But for some, it may be deceiving as menu items are indicated gf. I went to this location one night hoping for breakfast for dinner, and got got asked to leave. I went to place my order, and said I was Celiac, and our waiter was just like “Ohhh no… Nah, man. We can’t feed you here. Like you got a serious allergy? Nah, you’ve got to go to Whole foods or somethin’. We can’t feed you here.” And basically asked me to leave. Which is fair enough, but it was just a really funny experience. We ended up having to run to near by ABC stores that were still open to grab last minute, chips, turkey slices, and hummus.

Ordered the GF short stack. They were warm with no butter.
I asked for butter and she said she would get some. Five minutes later she is preparing to serve drinks to another table. I asked her for butter and she says water?
“No, butter”, and she proceeds to pass me a glass of water.
“No, butter!” I replied and she goes out back and a minute later brings back two frozen butter patties.
So I ate my now cold pancakes with feozen butter!

Went in to ask about their gluten free menu as it stated they were gluten free friendly on theit website, the lady on the desk seemed very confused when I asked. She then told me they weren't gluten free but gluten less 🤦🏻♀🤷🏻♀ safe to say I walked out.

While IHOP does have gluten-free meals… I made the mistake of not triple checking with the waitress and was brought regular waffles and not gluten-free waffles. I paid for it for 2 days…

They are NOT gluten free. They also do not understand when you tell them it is an allergy. I was sick so bad for three days.

They advertise as "gluten friendly", not gluten free. I asked about the GF waffle and they said it was cooked on a shared waffle iron that was not cleaned before switching to GF. I ended up getting a side of fruit.

SO AMAZING. i have celiac and i missed pancakes so much. Amazing gluten free pancakes. i would recommend to only get them with fruit toppings because of the risk of cross contamination. If you are on the fence and worried about cross contamination: Don’t be! it’s amazing and i feel great after!

The staff was friendly and said they would clean the griddle and prep area for the GF pancakes, but within an hour my daughter got a headache and stomach ache. She is celiac, so we tried to take the risk but it’s just not worth it. Celiacs be warned—it isn’t worth the risk.

Was a little nervous to eat at a chain but staff was great and they asked kitchen to clean the areas before cooking my food. Ordered the 2 stack gf pancakes with 2 eggs and ham. Was great for a late night dinner when everything else was closed. Pancakes were pretty good! And so far I feel fine (12 hours later). Would recommend if they aren’t too busy and can accommodate.

Called ahead to inquire about gluten free options available, was told they have pancakes, waffles, menu is labeled. Arrived and ordered to be told they're out of gluten free pancakes... Made due with eggs, bacon, and hash browns instead, until they served it with sausage that's not gluten free....

They had “gluten-friendly” pancakes and waffles (as well as some other gluten-free sides like bacon, eggs, hash browns, etc.), but it’s probably not safe if you have celiac. As someone with a less-serious gluten allergy than that, I felt safe eating here. I had the gluten-friendly waffle, and it was quite good and had a pretty good texture considering texture can be difficult to nail when making something gluten-free.

Wait staff was knowledgeable and had GF friendly options such as waffles, pancakes- no bread, which is fine. Great breakfast option if you aren't celiac. They do cook on a seperate surface though, I asked.

My family and o stopped here passing through from NC to MA. We were excited to try something “new” to us. First, the staff was rude beginning with the manager. She was speaking extremely loudly about an employee who she was planning to fire. When she sat us at our table, the waitstaff was very irritated and fought over who had to serve us. We then told them we have celiac disease and ordered our food. We were not given a notification that our waffles would take longer since they only have one GF waffle iron. We waited for our parts of our order for ten minutes after the first round came. The food was tasteless. The waitress never came to check on us, she forgot multiple items from our order and the manager was non-responsive. Total waste of time and money

We came to ihop with my regular eating family. The menu says gluten friendly options but after we started ordering they said they had none. The menu is totally false. We ended up putting together eggs hash brown and bacon as a compromise but wild not go here again.

Delicious but clearly cooked on the same grills as regular pancakes and waffles. Both my daughter and I got the gluten free waffles, they were covered with brown bits (from the grill). We both had strong celiac symptoms immediately after eating. So sad because the waffles were absolutely delicious! Wish they had a dedicated griddle and waffle machine.

This place was awful. Brought a silverware packet only contesting a knife, then brought a packet with dirty silverware. The table wasn't clean (even after being cleaned). No paper towels in the restroom (at 9:30 in the morning). Specifically told waitress about necessity for gluten free food. You can see the results of that in the tips. DO NOT EAT HERE

We ate here on NYE for breakfast. They offer gluten free pancakes and waffles! This was perfect for my husband and daughter who have a wheat allergy. They had eggs and hashbrowns with their meal, and they were completely satisfied. Although it was quite expensive for breakfast. I don't know if they have a dedicated gluten free space, but it worked for our allergy family.

They no longer offer a gluten free menu. They don’t offer even one gf salad. The only options I had were bacon & sausage or a gf waffle which are disgusting & the meat options will make me sick without anything else else on my stomach due to the grease. Even the eggs aren’t gluten friendly, I don’t understand how that’s even possible. So with that being said after a half hour wait I now am waiting 20 minutes thus far for everyone’s food to be made then and we will have to go find me something to eat elsewhere. The staff acted as if they had never even heard of a gluten allergy which makes the “options” they have a massive risk even if I could eat them.

I ate here and got the gluten free pancakes with eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon. I am newly gluten free because of my crohns and ibs and so don't know much. I never knew they put pancake batter in their eggs and I'm not sure if they were gluten free. I didn't have a awful reaction so they might have been but I would def ask your waiter.
