Extensive GF Menu. So many different choices. The servers are well versed on Celiac and even write this down on order so kitchen staff know to avoid cross contamination. A very pleasant experience indeed:)

The restaurant used to be pretty awesome but recently they have been making budget cuts and the serving sizes of food, particularly gluten free food, has gone way down. (I ordered French toast recently but the french toast was actually just bread with a little powdered sugar on top and consisted of crusts). Also they have stoped serving fresh syrup and butter. If you want good gluten free breakfasts I recommend for you to try someplace else.

I ate there this morning for the first time. The lady behind the bar was amazing and brought me their gluten free menu and just was really friendly and helpful. She even told me that it would be better to get the hash browns because the potatoes are done in the same place as an item with gluten, whereas the hash browns are not. Overall great homey atmosphere and great gluten free options. Had the gluten-free waffles there and they were some of the best waffles I’ve ever had.

The VP of the chain is Celiac so nice to see a lengthy gluten-free menu and good allergy/safety protocols. The gf Belgian waffle is so tasty, you’d think it contained gluten! The stuffed French toast is also a highlight. Staff is attentive and kind.

REVISED 3/26/23: No longer Celiac safe — the GF menu states the fries are GF but they are cooked in a shared fryer. There is a legal disclaimer at the bottom on the GF menu in small print that basically discourages a Celiac from eating there. The staff is not warm and kind toward Celiacs as they used to be, and waitstaff argued with us when we politely tried to educate on why fried cooked in a shared fryer are not gluten free. The owner also couldn’t care less. My adult celiac daughter was there recently and had a similar experience—they served her regular pancakes and when she asked if they were GF, the server said “oh, I forgot.”
Celiacs, please avoid!

Having a specific gf menu to choose from is so much more fun than trying to find all the little “GF” marked items on a menu. Kayla, my server, was delightful and totally understood what precautions were needed. Chocolate chip waffles are my happy place and Le Peep delivered! So good. Wish we had one of these in Austin. I ate until I was stuffed and then a little more. Didn’t have any issues afterward. Highly recommend for breakfast!

I have been to Le Peep several times and the owner has been there every time! She always walks around to check in everyone and their experience. This time my husband and I went there for a Valentine’s Day breakfast. I am gluten free because of an intolerance and I’ve never had any issue with a reaction of any sort I favor the stuffed French toast and caramel macchiato which are both on the gluten free menu :) I even had to snap a picture of my coffee this time because it was the most picture perfect one!

I am not celiac only wheat intolerant. I was excited to try this restaurant. I ordered the Salmon Benedict on a GF English Muffin and extra crispy hash browns. I got a cold Salmon Benedict on untoasted stale white bread. If the hash browns were extra crispy, then the regular hash browns must be uncooked. They were also cold. I will not be back.

This is one of my go-to breakfast spots! Love this place and always have a great experience! They have an extensive gluten free menu and if you let them know you need to avoid cross contamination, they understand and take precautions. Most of the servers are knowledgeable about their gluten free offerings. Make sure to ask about the fryer - most times I’ve been there, the server told me the fryer is gluten free but one time, the server did not know and asked the chef and told me it was not gluten free that day so make sure to check.

Third time visiting this location. I specified myself and son were Celiac. I ordered my food celiac allergy then specified it HAD to be GF. Same for my son. Both our meals came out, didn’t use anything to verify GF, I double checked with kitchen and server. Eating my food something didn’t seem right. Got out ticket and mine was the regular meal, no GF specified like they did for my sons waffles. Glad it was me and not him but been sick for last 12 hrs so far

I’ve been coming here for years and they have never gotten me sick. They have an epic GF waffle that will change your life! The skillets are crazy good too. They have a separate menu for all of the GF items and they usually ask everyone if they need a GF menu when they seat you.

When you’re being seated be sure to ask for a gluten free menu. The potatoes listed on the GF menu are NOT safe. Our waitress, Phoenix, said the hash browns were safe, and offered to sub in fruit, grits, or oatmeal for the potatoes. I got the Colorado egg white omelette with fruit and GF English muffin. It was delicious, and make sure to ask for Cholula!

Absolutely amazing! My husband and I both have celiac and haven’t had a full gluten free breakfast like this in years. We both got the 18 wheeler which came with French toast, meat, eggs, and hash browns/or potato’s. If we ever come back through we will for sure stop in. The ladies working were so sweet and helpful and the food was cheap!

We were excited to go today since we read so many good reviews. The waiter did not seem to know much, and the meal came out and we should have double checked it was all GF, but we didn’t. Several hours later, we are not feeling well and know there must have been cross-contamination. Beware.

Went here yesterday and everyone was so kind and helpful. I ordered the breakfast tacos, side of fruit, and hash browns from their gluten free menu - unfortunately my Nima tester picked up gluten in the tacos, eggs, and hash browns. They definitely did their best to accommodate, and I think cross contamination in the kitchen was what got me. Would not go back. The non-celiac folks I went with loved their food though!

Loved that they asked about gluten free right when you walk in. Stuffed French toast was bland and had no real maple syrup just the fake stuff. I would probably get an omelet or eggs Benedict if I were in the area again for breakfast. Love that they support our GF community! Check out the blip on the top right about Amanda the celiac HR VP

I really wasn't sure if I would get sick or not after leaving the restaurant . But I did not get sick.
I ordered the Mini Greek Omelet with their potatoes but instructed that I did not want any of the GF bread or English muffin because our waiter and I were not communicating well. I asked if they had a separate GF Toaster and he assured me the bread would be toasted. I asked a couple different ways and did not get a clear answer on if they had a dedicated toaster. So again I told the waiter no bread please.
Well my order came out and there was the English muffin and a waiter so happy because I really had to try the GF English muffin.
I removed the muffin from my plate once he left and did not eat the parts of the other food that it had touched.
The food was delicious. And if I find out that they have a dedicated toaster I would love to try the GF English Muffin because everyone at my table tried it and said it was better than the regular English muffin.

Had dedicated GF waffle maker. The manager has celiac disease and cautioned us on cross contamination is hard to avoid for them there. Not many safe choices because of that. Our son with celiac disease had GF waffle and banana. Could also probably do eggs safely. Don’t trust GF toaster there if worried about cross contact.
