I let the cashier know that it was my first time, and we needed to do gluten free, and she helped us choose burgers. I asked for the GF bun, then saw the caramel apple “pie” shake. I asked it that would be okay for gluten free, and she didn’t know. I asked if they could just leave out any crust stuff and she said sure. The shake came with crust sprinkled on top, and my boyfriend’s burger came with the regular bun.

I walked in and just asked about the gluten free options they were clueless. Guy said he would “check if the fries are gluten free. He said they would “try to be careful” Bc the Cajun seasoning can cross contaminate. I left and didn’t order anythjng. They were not knowledgeable at all .

Been to Meatheads countless times. Only thing in the frier is French fries so 100% safe. Now they have Udis gluten free buns. Never been sick and love a good burger and fries. I’ll be back....

GF buns and dedicated fryer. Easy choice

Lettuce-wrapped buns or Udi’s buns. Staff are knowledgable about celiac. The Cajun fries have gluten but the regular fries are gluten-free, and they always separate my husband’s Cajun fries so that they don’t touch mine. Fries are made in a dedicated fryer so no cross-contamination.

Gluten free buns and cooked my bacon separately to ensure a safe bacon burger.

Gluten free buns, employees even let us check the ingredients on the Cajun seasoning. Both my daughter and husband are Celiac and neither got sick. The food was overall pretty good. We were actually at the one in Normal, but couldn't find that location in the app.

I have been here quite a few times and the love that they ensure the french fries are gluten-free, fried in a separate fryer, and also provide a gluten-free bun (which is a bit oversized) with their burgers. They always ask if it is an allergy or a preference (I just say allergy because trying to explain is more info than they want haha) and make sure to note that on the ticket. Fortunately, I’ve never had any issues. I’m not ultra sensitive though.

love meatheads! dedicated fryer for fries, they note “gluten allergy” when you place your order. I usually just get the lettuce wrap but they also have gf buns now! best grilled chicken sandwiches!

I had great experiences here for about six months, but the last two times I’ve eaten here I’ve gotten ill within 30 minutes with my typical symptoms of being glutened. Makes me sad because I love their food!

Helpful staff and management who all seem well trained on allergies. Even ordering via the website you can easily flag items for gluten & wheat allergies. The order tickets automatically remind the cooks to change gloves. They have great Udi's buns and GF fries (the regular flavor). Chicken or Burgers or salad, and lots of safe toppings to choose from.

Staff was very accommodating for celiacs when told. They have a gluten free bun or lettuce option and they put the fries in a separate fryer! No reactions or anything and the food was great!

Fantastic gluten free fries and a delicious burger! The biggest pluses were the people and I didn't get sick! We will go back before we go home.

Lettuce wrapped burgers and fries are delicious. They now also offer Udis gf buns. They are careful with gluten and celiac customers.

We took our two boys out for burgers on a Friday night and had a good experience. No gluten free buns, but had lettuce buns (all those carbs aren't good for you anyway!). Fries were great and from a dedicated fryer. I have Celiac, so I tested my food with my Nima. It came out at below 5ppm. We are adding this place to our list of favorite quick eat spots.

Conveniently located across the street from Munster Community hospital. Then lettuce wrapped burger is delicious and so are the fries. They are knowledgeable and caring.

Awesome gf burger and fries! Totally safe with dedicated fryer for all fries! Staff is totally knowledgeable and have to tell cashier about gluten allergy so you can have it on your ticket for the kitchen!

Meatheads has very few things that are not gluten free. Just the bread, the crispy chicken, the chili, the Oreos, and the Cajun seasoning! And the GM is super knowledgeable about his product or he will find out! Down load the meatheads app for nutrition and allergens!

They are very knowledgeable and helpful here! The manager is always by the front counter ready to help with anything you need. Their fries are made in a dedicated fryer. We eat our burgers on lettuce and have never had any issues after eating here!

Our son got glutened here. Not sure how but it happened. I know they tried to keep him safe though. We don't go out often so it was definitely meatheads that made him sick

This place was amazing. The manager and staff are very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure everything was safe. They even opened a new ketchup to make sure there was no cross contamination!! The fries are gf too! They were awesome and the food is delicious!

They substitute lettuce for the bun. The cashier did ask if it was allergy or preference. It is just a preference for me, so I cannot say if it is celiac friendly. They do have a frier dedicated just for fries!

We go to this location regularly for my son who has celiac and they always make everything separate. We either bring along a bun for dining in or make at home. He has not been glutened. I think different locations are different but this one has been wonderful!! We would love to add gluten free buns!

Great burger and fries! Dedicated fryer and knowledgeable cashier. She even included a note on the order of allergy and to wash hands. She was training a new hire and told him what he needed to do when inputting the order. Very friendly and clean!

French fries are in a separate fryer. Worker was very knowledgable about gluten free and marked my daughter's order as "allergy - gluten". Burgers are gfree and can be wrapped in lettuce.

They can do a lettuce wrapped burger. No fries though, they are made in a shared Grier. Burgers are tasty

The people who worked there are super knowledgeable about what food contains gluten and what does not! They automatically adjusted the rest of my order and not just the burger to make sure it was safe to eat! They offer all of their sandwiches and burgers in lettuce wraps and they are great!

Staff is knowledgeable and so helpful! Helped me find a suitable gluten fee option on the menu. When you tell them you have an allergy, they are careful to prepare your food separately- changing their gloves, and all! Burgers and fries were delicious. Staff very friendly. Will definitely return.

Marked gluten allergy on my burger ticket - fries and dipping sauces were great (we had cheese and bacon ranch). No gluten free buns, but they make up for it!

Fries and chicken nuggets are fried in seperate friers so there is no cross contamination. No GF buns but their grill is only for the burgers. Only oil, no butter on them. They will do a lettuce wrap.

I have been going here for the last two years on a regular basis and I LOVE IT!! I have Celiacs and I've never had a problem. However, I never order a bun with my burger. I prefer to wrap it in lettuce instead. The fries are AWESOME!!

Ask for lettuce wraps for the burger and tell them you have an allergy and they'll grill in a different area than where they grill the buns.
