Gluten free wraps available. Staff and owner were willing to clean and dedicate grill space to cook the meat. Very conscious about celiac needs. Willing to change gloves, used wrapper to keep the wrap separate in the steamer and prepared food separate.
Awesome accommodation for gluten free, dairy free, etc. Gluten free pitas and sauces. Change gloves and clean the grill if asked. There is cross contamination it seems but they try best to keep it safe.
Owner is very knowledgeable and have trained staff to follow GF protocol. The available GF wrap is okay, about what you'd expect for GF wrap. Almost all of the meats and sauces are safe, they are labeled as well. Just avoid the teriyaki and the Gyro meat as they have gluten. I am excited to have another safe, quick place to get food. They also have online ordering and delivery!!
This place tries exceptionally hard to be celiac friendly... but... I don’t think they have full knowledge of how to do it! They pulled the veggies straight from the regular line, touch the sauce bottles with freshly gloved hands, then touch the g free wrap. It was very good, but not celiac safe!
Cross contamination likely at this restaurant, they do offer a gluten free wrap but otherwise is prepared like a subway with contact to contaminated surfaces all over. Be careful!

Very well informed. The place was recommended by the Sioux City Celiac support group and I was not disappointed. The manager talked me through what I could order (some meat / sauces not GF) and knew from my mentioning Celiac that they would prepare in the back. She mentioned her daughter has celiac so they are more aware than other franchises would be.
I love pita pit but just going to point something out if you’re celiac. Same goes for places like Subway. I don’t care if they change their gloves, the staff put on gloves and the dip into the veggies while touching flour wraps. They put on new gloves for a celiac. Doesn’t change the likelihood that there is now some amount of gluten in the veg. If you want to be low risk the only way is to ask them to get the toppings from a fresh bag!
They have a new GF pita. Made with rice and soybean flour. Most ingredients to fill pita are GF as they are natural. I’d say about 90%. GF disclaimer about not having dedicated space in kitchen and there is a possibility of cross-contamination. I called and spoke with a very nice woman who was more than willing to accommodate me; do a glove change etc. Had the GF Chicken Caesar Pita. It was great! GF pita was pretty sturdy too. They seem to be very knowledgeable especially after reading the information they have posted on their site about GF and celiac disease.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Clean gloves, covered work space, gluten-free pita... They worked hard to keep the opportunity for cross contamination to a minimum. We will certainlyReturn.
They can make any pita a salad if you ask, but some locations also have gluten-free pitas!
