We called for gluten order of pulled pork and polish sausage, there was toast in same container not separated so they clearly don’t understand cross contamination and i got sick. The potatoes tasted off too. Have to tell them specifically don’t let bread be in same container etc if want to try to eat here and majority of their staff have no idea what gluten is.

The staff was very knowledgeable about their gluten free offerings. They had a gluten free menu. The chef was very careful and prepared the sides separately for me. They also gave me individually sealed BBQ sauce to prevent cross contamination.
Food is ok. Service was a nightmareand it wasn't busy for a father's day/Sunday. No pulled pork on a known eating out holiday. After ordering we waited about 45 minutes for the order. Then, I ordered gluten free due to celiac and my plate has bread laying on the food. 15 minutes later I get my new plate with one third of the food missing (three meat plate). No manager visit, no discount. We had to wait another 15 minutes for the bill. I could give some slack if the place was slammed but it was far from that. And yes I worked in restuarant so I do understand how things can get.
They say on website that they have glutten free but our great waitress went and double checked all the ingredients. All the meat is seasoned with rub which contains wheat. So unless you just want salad don't plan on eating meat.
This place was delicious! We ordered to - go, and even though I forgot to say no bread (on the 2 meat plate), they were nice enough to make us a brand new order. I really appreciate the care they took in remaking my plate!
We ate here in April 2014, I was NOT impressed which is strange considering I've had a MUCH better experience @ the locations in Springfield, MO! They were "out" of any meat I could have minus the Sausage for starters. Then, my salad came & it had croutons. I had ordered my boys the fries which were technically safe. Also, most of my husband's meal was safe for me & I have Celiac! I called a Spfld location to verify what I could & couldn't have...same suppliers & exact same menu. I was lied to about what was an available option. I felt like they just wanted us to leave so they tried to make it as difficult as possible on me.
Allergen menu available online only, not in store. Gluten free options available but staff was not knowledgeable, and put bread on my plate after requesting no bread. Corrective action was simply removing the bread, not building a new plate. Service was poor and bills had mistakes as well. Only beer available, no ciders.
Waitress couldn't tell me what was gluten free, brought me a 12 page document that broke out allergens. Still couldn't answer if entrees were considered containing wheat because bread came with meal. She asked the cooks, they didn't know. I settled for a hamburger, minus bun. Terrible.....meat was tough, gristly and dry. I don't recommend this restaurant , period
We had a very disappointing experience there. The workers seemed to know nothing about eating gluten free and while they do have an "allergen list", when we asked questions about it we were told "your best bet is the list." Really??? We never got an answer about whether "wheat" on their list encompasses the whole gluten family or just wheat. The ribs and brisket were listed as Y for wheat so were not considered safe for our son with Celiac to eat so we felt the actual gluten free selections were very limited. We are from out of town and are use to pretty much everything on the menu at our local bbq place being gluten free.
I checked their web-site and they said to order something smoked and not the ranch beans. I ordered baby back ribs and baked beans. Be sure to tell them not to put the bread on your plate and only use the mild sauce. It was an excellent meal and never a symptom.
