Great bison burger and have never had issue with gluten after visiting a couple different locations. Management and front end staff generally very knowledgeable about allergies but what you see in open kitchen might leave you a little less comfortable. Either way food is way better than Ted turners politics!

UPDATED 04/23/22 - my original review is below, but the last 2 times I visited this location they have cross-contaminated my food. Today they brought my food to the table with glutened onion rings on top of my meal. It is disappointing that a restaurant I've trusted for years has made dangerous errors on all my last visits. When I asked for the food to be redone, the manager has not yet come out to apologize. This is happening now.
They have a gluten free menu and a dedicated fryer. I come in at least once a week for a delicious burger and fries. The service is friendly and the food is not only tasty, but celiac safe!

Great separate gluten free menu. Separate friers for French fries and chips. GF Buns for burger. Cross contamination has never been an issue. Waiters and kitchen staff knowledgeable on gluten free dining and celiac.

The server was very knowledgeable about GF options. I had the bison filet/fries and a shrimp appetizer. They substituted the bread on the app for some salad with dressing already on it. I didn’t know the ingredients in the dressing, but tried it anyway & no reactions. Delicious meal & no reactions after. It’s a bit pricey, but will be going back!

Ted's Montana Grill has a gluten-free menu and a dedicated GF fryer, so the french fries and house made chips were safe! The gluten-free selection was somewhat limited as gluten-free selections tend to be but I was able to have a very delicious steak with fries and asparagus, and a milkshake. The server was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and was able to get information seemed trustworthy when she didn't know.

I used to love Ted’s. Great food and great drinks. My experience tonight was not good. I expressed to the hostess and waiter that I am Celiac and extremely sensitive to gluten, and unfortunately also have a dairy allergy. I asked if they would take additional precautions, but it didn’t work out that way. Despite Ted’s appearing very safe to Celiac’s Im about 99% sure I got hit with both cross contamination and dairy. And Im currently sick. Would not recommend ever.

We had a great experience! When we first got there (7 p) and the hostess said it was a hour and a half wait. My husband really wanted to eat here, so we put our name on the list. Twenty-five minutes later, our table is ready. They have a gluten free menu (can been seen on their website), which was convenient. The pickle appetizer was good and salty, we like salty. I ordered a sweet tea and a Canyon Creek bison burger (MW) on a gluten free bun ($1 up charge) with the parmesan roasted broccoli. My husband ate gluten free as well and ordered the berry fresh squeezed lemonade, Delmonico beef steak, garlic mashed potatoes, and roasted green beans. The side portions were very substantial. My bison burger was sooo good, very flavorful. I tried my husband’s steak and it was seasoned very well and tasty. We throughly enjoyed our meal, so well that I forgot to take a picture to post on here. Our server Melissa was great, knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted to make us happy. They also have a military discount (10%). I didn’t get sick except that I ate too much. We will definitely be back!

I ordered a cheeseburger with a gf bun. I was served a burger with a regular bun. I asked if it was gf, and they said no and took it back. Then a few minutes later I was brought the same burger with a gf bun. I then noticed that the burger had crispy onions on it. I didn’t feel safe to have them attempt to get it right. I left the restaurant without eating. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

They have separate gluten-free menu. I've eaten here atleast 3 times and haven't been sick. I always enjoy my meal, but others in my party have had issues with the food (not celiac related). I always get the green and hot bison burger with the gluten-free bun and side of fries. I love that they have a dedicated fryer. The service is usually very good as well.

So we were very excited when we read the review and figured this would a fun and easy meal. They did have a specific gluten free menu and separate fryer for chips and fries. HOWEVER. The food was lacking in flavor, the bison burger had a weird after taste(we’ve had/made our own bison burgers before, this was like a wet dog taste), the chips and fries needed salt, the sweet tea was old tasting and the pickles they served tasted like salt water. The bison filet was good however. So I guess that’s something

The restaurant had a gluten-free menu and our waitress was knowledgeable about gluten-free needs. I ordered a bison steak with mashed potatoes, grilled shrimp, a Caesar salad without croutons, and vanilla ice cream and had no issues afterward. Make sure not to get gravy with any potatoes, as it is thickened with wheat flour.

Have been twice this month. Service great. I warned waitress I was Celiac. Have several GF choices , only charge 1.00 extra on bun and appeared knowledgeable. I had the homemade chips & dip, burger and fries. Told they have GF dedicated fryer. All delicious. No problem. 2nd visit same order but this time my GF bun was never toasted/heated so lacked taste and was a crumbled mess. As I really didn’t need it I only mentioned at end just asking them to remind kitchen that GF buns need to toasted. They insisted on giving e a discount even though I was fine. Heading back on my birthday addicted to those chips. Burgers & fries great too. Note I’m not a extremely sensitive celiac like a lot are so a tiny crumb or two on a conveyor belt for example would not get me.

Ordered online after reviewing their protocol. I got a burger with fries and broccoli. I wrote down celiac, gluten free, allergy. I had a reaction. I’m addition, the burger was half raw and had to be cooked at home. The restaurant gave me no assurance that my food was safe and their service was bad. I usually only eat at four places in denver, I guess I won’t be adding a fifth.

This is by far my favorite gluten free restaurant! Staff is knowledgeable and prepared to deal with gluten allergy. The bison burger and fries are both delicious. The buns are inconsistent - sometimes the bun is the best in the world, other times a little dry. Beer selection is awful, only gluten free alcoholic bev was angry orchard, not even a good cider!

This is such a cute little grill! They have a separate gluten free menu (a little small, salads and burgers but they do offer a GF bun). I’m extremely sensitive to cross contamination and our waitress was well informed! There’s a separate kitchen area as well as a separate fryer so I was able to have French fries! Best part of the day :) food was good too. Glad to find a safe to eat place in DE!

I ordered a burger from the gluten-free menu, but asked for no bun. It was served with fries which I was told were gluten-free. I had a reaction that I associate with cross-contact. It's probably fine for those following a paleo diet, but not for gluten-intolerant or celiac diners.

I am not Celiac, but very sensitive to gluten. I get sick pretty quickly after eating it. The menu at Ted’s is clearly marked, and there is also a special GF menu. I was impressed with the care they took to ensure I was safe at Ted’s. They brought my food out separately from everyone else’s. The gluten free bun was delicious. I will definitely be back!

Gf bun for my son’s burger wasn’t very good, my and husbands salad was very small (not entree size), nachos (left off bison chili to be gf, w/o price reduction, or replacement with chopped bison patty or extra toppings), broccoli side tasted like gas.

I was very impressed that Ted’s had a gluten-free menu online as well as clear labeling on the menu in the restaurant. The server asked if I had a gluten allergy or preference, and because it was allergy, they took extra precautions to avoid cross contamination. My server also communicated everything, like my food would come out separately from the other members of my party, which I appreciated!
