praga5656 A good partner will understand your needs and support you in the best way possible. There are partners that go GF, and others that do not do it. My partner went GF because it was easier for both to manage the household. Less worries about cross contamination, preparing only a meal instead of two versions. I never asked for it, and I appreciate it because I feel safe at home (Having no gluten feels like heaven) 1 reply

AriaSonata My partner went GF for the first few years, and got to be honest, it was a bit hard. Now, they just wash their hands, brush their teeth, and wait a while before touching me and we are ok. If they are extremely careful to clean up like this, it’s been my experience that it’s ok. That said, I highly recommend having a gluten free home; it’s literally heaven not having to fear getting glutened all the time

VickTori3247 It depends on your severity. My girlfriend has celiac but not touch sensitive. I generally cook gf for us but I eat gluten regularly.

celiacboy84797 If you guys live together and cook regularly she will eventually eat most meals gluten free just out of convenience so I don’t think it is necessary to take away the extra gluten things. 2 replies
