Our family will be traveling to Vermont in October to go leaf peeping. Any places we should go to or avoid? Thanks in advance.
kylieaoliver27 farmhouse tap and grill is amazing!! it’s in downtown burlington (which is an adorable place to visit) and the restaurant has a dedicated fryer, gf buns, and tons of other gf options. definitely worth checking out! 1 reply
Lio_Eilish Vermont really doesn’t have many fast food places, but lots of nice sit down restaurants for cheap. I recommend Ranch camp, dedicated fryer, gf buns and bread, and so many dessert options which is pretty rare. 1 reply
GFGal2468 Hey! Any particular kinds of food or restaurants you’re interested in? I have a collection of Burlington, VT area places to eat that have been consistently reviewed as safe in the Find Me GF app. (My list excludes places in the app with high heart ratings that have had people who got glutened or found wheat pasta in their GF pasta, etc within the last year or so (for example, Skinny Pancake, Leunig’s)). I keep it up to date and take places off the list if something like that happens. Might be a worthwhile place to start, if you want. I also have a few ice cream/creemee places listed too, at the bottom. Collection is called Burlington, VT area safe options 2 replies
jamin482 SAAP Thai in Randolph is amazing, need to make a reservation at least a week out. Asian gourmet in Barre, very knowledgeable, inexpensive and tasty. Istanbul house in Burlington is excellent too. For excellent pub food and local beer Good Measure pub and brewery. Everything they fry is gf as are their sauces. 3 replies
