• lauriek63 Regular Rice Krispies ate ABSOLUTELY NOT GF….they contain MALT‼️. They do make a gf but you can’t always find them UNLESS you go to a Whole Foods/Natural Grocers/etc.

• karin96867 Read your crispy rice cereal ingredient list carefully. If malt or “modified food starch” are listed, avoid. There are several gluten free varieties of Cherrios though, and the words, GLUTEN FREE, are prominently listed on the front of those varieties.

• gary65227 If they are really GF, made in dedicated facilities- they will mark GF on packaging. It’s a bonus for them, so they make it clear! Sometimes, ingredients are GF, but no GF label. Means it was not made in a GF facility, could be cross contamination. I’m celiac, but sometimes I’ll go by ingredient list. More risk. Micro contamination is all that’s needed to keep inflammation going. Careful.

• nealwol Apparently in Canada Kellogg's sells a brown rice Rice Krispies that are GF ($14+ on Amazon) but the US cereal has malt syrup and malt is made from barley (not gf).
