brennatkac anyone know if smirnoff vodkas are gluten free?? anyone have a reaction to it?? 1 year ago
neil120499 In addition Tito’s, Luksusowa and Ciroc are all safe. I have heard because Vodkas are distilled liquor is safe but I am very sensitive and has problems with Stolichnaya, Belvedere and Gray Goose.
Timothy125425 Deep eddys and Tito’s seem to be the best options
musicfreak324 I’ve personally never had a reaction either. What I’ve read is that Smirnoff’s vodka is distilled from corn. Apparently the main thing to look out for is Smirnoff Ice specifically. That’s not gluten-free because they use a malt derived from barley. I just found a link on celiac.com that lists what is okay and not okay for Smirnoff, if that helps: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/is-smirnoff-vodka-gluten-free-r5736/
aileenmrspurple I stick with Titos. Most places have it.
Sharetgelight Smirnoff is not gluten free. Ask for potato vodka made in Poland, generally. I am a martini drinker and Chopin is my top choice. Also Tito’s is GF and I belive is made from corn. Hope this helps.
laura157746 If it doesn’t say GF it’s not. Tito’s is GF.
janice933 I like Chopin the best. It’s marked gf and is very smooth. It’s a potato vodka and I prefer it to a corn vodka.
kambria733 I do really well with Titos may be a better option
michael39795 Is Absolut Vodka Swedish vodka gluten free even though it is made with winter wheat? 8 months ago
sillyceliactimes Distilled spirits are naturally gluten free as gluten is removed during the distillation process. Always check ingredients for additives. 5 replies
pamela90 Prairie Organics Vodka and Gin are made form corn and are gluten free. Blue Ice Vodka is potato vodka also gluten free. While vodka made from wheat is said to be gluten free I find it hurts my stomach.
grace88984 Tito’s is GF! 2 replies
Swaldroup Luksusowa is a potato based vodka that is relatively inexpensive, has little to no aftertaste and has never given me any troubles. I’ve been enjoying it for about 3 yrs with no side effects.
christie73559 Absolute is NOT gluten free. It was my preference till I found out that they reintroduce the mash to the distilled spirits. Gives me an instant headache. Their website advises it’s not.
christie73559 Ciroc, Tito’s, Greygoose are gluten free. And NO- not all clear liquors are gluten free. You have to do your research. It is correct that the distillation process DOES remove the gluten, however, as I mentioned in my previous post; several distillers add the mash back in for flavor and reintroduce gluten. I’m good with tequila. Investigating Rum. Someone told me about a new liquor called Sotol. It’s sold at the bigger liquor stores. Supposed to be GF, but I have not tried it yet.
