I had a great experience here. The server knew what was celiac safe on the menu. I got the chicken kebab with roasted potatoes, and I split hummus (with the mushrooms and onions) with my friend. They gave me cucumbers for dipping in the hummus. Food was fabulous and can’t wait to go back and try again!

This place is in no way safe for anyone with celiac. There’s no designated fryer, widespread cross-contamination in the kitchen, and servers with no knowledge or empathy for folks with allergies/celiacs. I used Nima to test an order of grilled chicken with raw tomato salad on top (which I was assured was safe). Nima said “gluten found.” I then ordered a Nicoise salad with no dressing. Again, “gluten found.” The wait staff/manager didn’t apologize and told me that I should stop ordering and this wasn’t a restaurant for someone with CD. Frankly, it felt really crappy and the food that I did eat (babaganoush and labneh, which I also had a reaction to) wasn’t worth it. Under-salted and nothing special. Don’t waste your time or your money here.

12 Chairs was wonderful when I told them I had celiac, they told me they have a separate gluten free fryer and went over all of the menu items that were gluten free. I had the falafel, hummus, and arugula salad. For anything that comes with pita bread, they replace the pita with the cutest cucumbers. It was absolutely delicious and gluten free friendly!
They replaced the pita bread with cucumbers, most of the menu could come gluten free if you asked. They also have a gluten free fryer
The drinks were delicious, outdoor bar & dining was beautiful and the staff was so friendly and accommodating
