Today was my first time and I was ready to be somewhat disappointed. Not the case at all! I inhaled my burger; the bun was INCREDIBLE! They even sell the buns by the case if you're interested in taking home the awesome bread (it would be worth it too, it's delicious)!
I have eaten here a few times. Friendly staff. It's nice to be able to eat out and not get sick. :))
These guys are the best and definitely my go to. Always have something I can eat. Dedicated gluten free menu and all the waitstaff is trained to know what you're talking about so you don't get "that look" when you say you have celiacs/gluten allergy. Definitely go!
My first restaurant I could eat gf burger with a bun and gf fries. I was in heaven. Everything was delicious! The staff was great about making sure my food was gf. The manager even talked to me about their buns. Every time I go I purchase hamburger buns to have at home.
I asked if they had gluten free buns and a separate fryer. they said they did so I got the RR Bacon Cheeseburger with no red Robin Seasoning on the burger or the fries. everything tasted really good. I was then told that ice cream hot fudge sundae was completely gluten free. it tasted so good but by the time I was done my stomach was full and hard to push on. I had the urge to fart all the way home and couldn't got home and had a gluten reaction and been real sick since. don't trust desert gf menu! ask a ton of questions about gluten free not everyone there knows what it is... otherwise everything else was good.
This was the first place I went to after being diagnosed. Have been there 5 or 6 times in the 6 months that have followed and have never had a bad experience. Waitstaff is knowledgeable and helpful. They have dedicated fryers and their gf buns are awesome!
Amazing service we came on a busy Friday night and our server was so willing to go over the gf menu with me and answer all my questions. No adverse reactions from the foods. I'm very happy with this Red Robin!
You have to be vigilant EVERYWHERE! I ordered one if Red Robins signature burgers GF (this means that the signature sauce isn't used). After I started eating I realized that the Sauce had in fact been used on this occasion It was also stated the fries are gluten free...I gave them a second chance I asked a few more questions about the fries. They are not gluten free from what I was told other breaded items are fried in the same frier. They do NOT have a separate one. TRIPLE check everything everywhere every time! I will still go to Red Robin just not as much as a locally owned tap house with FABULOUS food! Gluten free of course!
One of my favorite parts about Red Robin is the fries... Every Red Robin I have been to had a dedicated fryer, but sadly at the Norman Oklahoma Red Robin they DO NOT HAVE A DEDICATED FRYER!!! Other reviews have stated that they do, something must have changed! Also, when I talked to the manager about my order (as I always do) he truly seemed confused and admitted as much, because "No one ever orders this way." Will not come back!
I'm harsher on my opinion since I'm also soy intolerant. I could have a plain burger patty with ketchup, mustard & bacon. They forgot my toppings. Never offered a gf bun. The manager was very friendly & tried to help, but between the gluten & soy I was very limited in my selections. Probably won't go back. $11 for 2 burger pattys, small bowl of fruit salad & a small bowl of coleslaw. Bummed!!
The waitress was so patient, helpful, and friendly! They have a dedicated GF fryer for the fries, and a GF bun so pretty much all their burgers are an option. The bun was fluffy and one of the best I've had so far - even my gluten-eating date thought it was good!
They offered a binder with allergen listings and recommendations for gluten free options. We had burgers on GF buns and fries. Really tasty burger and fries were good. Complaint/concern: They offered to refill fries and the refill fries that they brought smelled like onion rings. so we became concerned and brought it to the attention of the server. She double checked with the kitchen and confirmed that they were prepared in the dedicated allergen fryer, however, we weren't convinced & not willing to take the risk. Will reiterate severity of sensitivity to server next time, but definitely plan to return. No reactions!
The waiter brought me a binder with updated gluten free options. It looks like they update this monthly. You can see what sauces to avoid, etc. The royal burger (with egg & bacon) was good. The sweet potato fries weren't crisp though. (the waiter said there was a dedicated frier) I think I did get mildly glutened (if you can call any amount mild - I'll spare you describing my levels of reactions). It was possibly from handling - I *think* he carried our plates stacked so someone's bun may have touched my plate. I take partial blame for this though - I'm still new to having to make my needs clear to waiters. For now I think I'll stick to Stacked for burgers.
So yummy!!! Totally gluten free buns just ask for g free fries!!! Tell them you have an allergy!
Loved it! Finally able to eat out and have a burger with a BUN! Bun tasted great and was nice and soft! Also what impressed me is dedicated fryers for French fries!! Yum! People were knowledgable and friendly! And I did not get sick and I am very sensitive! Seemed to have a decent selection on the gluten free menu! Will be back again!
I love this location! The staff is very knowledgeable about what is and isn't gluten free on the menu. They have reminded me numerous times that the seasoning salt is not gluten free (has caramel color in it), although i sometimes choose not to listen (My own fault for getting sick with that one). They are also very forthcoming with other gluten free options like the Udi's Gluten Free bun (I just don't like buns for my burgers). Love this place. Great food and great service.
Awesome service. Very helpful with gluten free menu. Brought out my food on a seperate tray from others at my table and told me what had been done. (Clean gloves, seperate washed pan, gluten free fryer, seperate from others to avoid contamination) I will definetly be back often!
I've had pretty much overall great service, and when they slack, they fix things right away. I love Red Robin and the GF menu is awesome, buns taste like udi's and I love those!
Never gotten sick here! I do mostly take out but I always stress that I am allergic to gluten and they never fail me.
I enjoyed a fantastic burger on a GF bun and fries without any issues. The waitress was very helpful and confirmed the food I ordered would be flagged for special handling (changing gloves, using clean tongs/bowls). They go the extra step to take precautions for handling the food in addition to the GF menu. Well done Red Robin!
I have eaten here many times and never had any problems. Every one that has waited on us have been aware of celiac disease and have handled my order with great care. They also have Redbridge beer, not on menu you need to ask for it.
this is on my mothers behalf ... there was nats flying around our drinks and we had to swat the bugs away just to eat our food this was at Febuary 15 2014 and it was really disgusting enviorment ... I was sitting away from my mother and didnt have this problem I think that nats were atracted to the alcohol in that section witch was 21 and older me and my boyfriend had a great time and loved the sevice
Red Robin takes allergy issues seriously. Along with gluten, I'm also allergic to eggs, dairy, and soy. Red Robin has an interactive allergen menu on their website. Pick what you can't have, and it will tell you exactly what you can have. Fries are cooked in dedicated fryers. If you tell them that you have allergies, there is an allergy alert on your ticket and they are on it. Last time we were there, they accidentally put seasoning on my burger, so they remade it and apologized profusely. They get my money every time.
I have been to Red Robin several times and have loved their gluten free options every time! their gluten free buns tasted great!
Of all the chain restaurants RedRobin probably has the most gluten free offerings. I've never gotten sick after eating here. I was very skeptical the first time I ate here and made our server ask the manager on duty and the cook to confirm GF options. Fries are done in a separate fryer and the lettuce wraps are delicious. I've had the gluten free bun once and personally didn't care for it, but I am pretty picky.
Very good gluten free bun! Great service and the fries have a dedicated fryer.
Table and plates were dirty. No forks available when we arrived and had to eat appetizer without them. GF bun on hamburger was good!
