Food is absolutely delicious! Higher end place. Cozy feel. Great service. All dedicated gluten free. It is amazing to have a full menu to choose from. This is my go to for special occasions.

1776 is one of our go-to restaurants. Their entire facility is gluten free you don't have to worry about a thing. Yes their entire menu is gluten free. Excellent food. The service is excellent. The only thing you might have to be careful of is some of the drinks at the bar because not all drinks are gluten free. That's the only thing you have to ask about, otherwise everything is gluten free and it's really good food and service. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and the restaurant owner is Celiac.

What a fabulous restaurant! I had to drive over an hour to get here, but it will be a regular trip. It was so nice having everything gluten free, we ordered lots of things and I was able to try everything. We were told it was a new menu, we had crab cakes and Brussels sprouts and mushroom soup. The sprouts were superb and soup was excellent. I haven’t eaten crab cakes in a while, so that was fun. For entrees we shared pork, black cod, and salmon. Each wonderful, waitress was very nice. This is a must-go place for celiacs in chicago area.

Amazing service and food. I had the duck leg confit and my daughter had the cauliflower steak. We also had cheese curds and hummus for appetizers. All of it was delicious. Wish we lived closer.

Amazing food! 100% GF kitchen! It's hard to describe being totally safe eating anything off a menu. The staff (Kelly) made me feel so good about all the choices. They also have an amazing wine list! We will back all the time. It's so worth the 35 minute drive!!!

Best experience of my life. I had not eaten in a restaurant in 5 years due to bad experiences with cross contamination and the owner heard and came out at talked to me. She spent a decent time talking with me and commiserating with the difficulties with food allergies/intolerances. She explained how they can accommodate so many dietary needs. She was so down to earth and kind. The whole experience was so overwhelming for me that I cried happy tears. The food was so delicious. I loved every single thing. We even went back the next night. Delicious and safe and ran by the best people !

We had such a wonderful experience we went back again two days later! Wonderful food, wonderful service. Highly recommend the grilled cheese sandwich - best I’ve had in the last five years! Staff were wonderful with questions and kids.

The food start to finish was delicious and one of us went off server recommended dishes and loved it even more than we thought as it wasn’t a dish we’d normally pick (tomahawk pork).

We were very impressed with the fact that the restaurant kitchen is 100% celiac safe (gluten free). One of us is celiac.

There’s a enormous wine bottle list with great glass wine choices. We even enjoyed a pinot noir which isn’t usually a personal choice.

Finished with a turtle pie and tawny and it capped a fabulously delectable meal!

The service was impeccable and the food to die for. We will be back and highly recommend for your next night out!

We also had a filet that was moist cooked to temp preference and cut like butter.

Cheese curds highly enjoyed as its an uncommon available app for folks with celiac!

Chocolate torte was extremely moist and scrumptious and also pairs well with tawny.

The owner was very knowledgeable in celiac and food allergen issues. It was refreshing as someone with celiac to experience a restaurant and dinner with out feeling like a burden to the staff due to eating issues.

Awesome exclusively gf restaurant with delicious food. The appetizers are great including the crab cakes and cheese curds. I also had Jambalaya for my entrée and the peach pie for dessert was to die for. Excellent wine list!

So good. Seriously. A few things on the menu were EXCEPTIONAL: cheese curds and flat bread. Underwhelmed by the chicken teriyaki. They can’t all be winners but just being able to get anything on the menu and being able to share with other people is such a novelty. I drove more than an hour to get here and it was worthwhile. If you’re anywhere nearby… consider making this very special trip.

Pro tip: I got fries and cheese curds to go and reheated them the next day in the toaster oven. The cheese curds were perfect again! The fries were not. Get stuff to go; you won’t be sorry!

This is our go to place as a family with 2 celiacs. We always feel safe here and the food is excellent. Since CoVID we have been getting pick-up and the food quality has remained excellent - and is well “plated” in the take out boxes.

I cannot possibly overstate how incredible this place is! It is a completely gluten free facility and the food is SO INCREDIBLE. One of the best meals I've had in a long time and I'm not actually gluten free, my boyfriend is. We both had such an amazing experience dining here. The food is so so so delicious and thoughtfully crafted and plated and everything is locally sourced. Our server told us they even source from local hydroponic farms so they can still have local produce in the winter! She was so patient and friendly and knowledgeable and so was the rest of the staff. The drinks were fantastic too. We're so excited that we found out about this place and will definitely be back many times. This place is such a gem!

This place is a celiac gem!! The owner has celiac and multiple food allergies and has trained the staff very well. We go there monthly with our celiac daughter and have never had a problem. One of the only places we trust completely. Farm to table, fresh food and a rotating menu with what is in season. Definitely a must!!

The best for celiac safe food!!! The owner has celiac disease so she totally gets it and makes sure her staff takes the proper precautions. The majority of the menu is already gluten free though, and I believe they are working toward making the entire menu gluten free. Eat (and drink) here with confidence! Just always advocate for yourself and tell your server of your celiac disease. They instantly know what to do from there!! Love this place!!!!! :)
