Food is very good. Staff is very knowledgeable. Dedicated frier, and the fries are fresh and delicious. Oysters are great.

Live music.

Excellent beer selection for the non-gf people in the party.

They were very careful and have a dedicated GF fryer. Plenty of food options, and GF drink options as well. The waitress was very knowledgeable and made every effort to make sure my meal was safe. Great atmosphere, too!

I am not sure how restaurants get picked for FMGF, but I believe this one was put there in error. There was only one item listed on the menu (BLT) that explicitly stated it could be gluten free, because they had GF bread. We asked the waitress if anything else might be gluten free and her response was apathetic, at best. She informed us that there were 2 seafood dishes and everything else was either marinated in something that had wheat or had a wheat-based sauce on it. She made no effort to ask the chef if he could accommodate until we insisted and then came back out and told us that something she originally told us had wheat, did not. She mentioned another item that might be gluten free but then never checked on whether or not it was. Hard to know what to believe. In addition to that, our service was incredibly slow. They brought out some of the meals and then there was a 5-10 minute wait for the rest of them. We asked for ketchup and that took another 5 minutes. Although we sat in the dining room we could still see and hear a TV from the bar. Overall a very expensive meal and poor service.
