Ate here twice - once the walnut apple omelet; the second time the summer scramble. Toaster not dedicated. The first time they told me the potatoes were gf, the second time they said they couldn’t be sure. Did not get sick after eating the potatoes but didn’t want to take a chance and subbed out potatoes for fruit bowl the second time. Friendly staff!

Cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. They take gluten free and quality very serious. I had a Mediterranean dish and it was fabulous!! I also had a GF blueberry pancake and it was really good as well. Service was awesome. Cid was our server and he was friendly, knowledgeable and very pleasant. I would highly recommend this restaurant while in Bar Harbor

There is nothing on the menu about anything gluten free and there is no separate menu for GF. However, if you ask, they will tell you about GF options. The waitress advised they *sometimes* have gluten free toast; they did not when I went. However, she seemed knowledgeable because she was the one who stated they’d make sure there was no cross contamination. I had the Swiss, mushroom, bacon omelette (it was a special), the home fries are gluten free and had freshly squeezed OJ (so good). The food was really good and a huge portion. I’d go back.

Great unique little spot!! There aren’t any gluten free options marked on the menu but if you ask your waiter they have plenty of options! Including bread & pancakes!

Very knowledgeable staff that takes their time to get it right. Mention that you have a gluten allergy and they will clean their grill, change gloves, and have their gf stuff compartmentalized in the back. They even have gf bread, pancakes, and delicious home fries. Don’t trust that 1-star review, they know their stuff at 2 cats.

Called and ordered gf pancakes for my two young daughters. Asked about cooking in a safe manner was told they would use a separate pan. When I picked up the order they mentioned yes gf pancakes cooked in separate pan. Well I don’t know what happened but 2 hours later one of my daughters got violently sick, which lasted 3 hours! If you are sensitive use caution.
