Offered double green beans since the rice pilaf had dairy. Ordered lake perch (not fried) and also side order of Brussels sprouts with bacon and honey - delicious.

Loved it the first time and had to come back. Ate here twice in 3 days. Worth the hour drive. The owner and Jennifer (our server) are very knowledgeable about food allergies and the menu. I recommend asking for them and being clear about food allergies. Great yelp reviews also.

I happened to call in advance to ask questions because one never knows...the menu states they are not a 100% GF kitchen and can’t promise no cross contamination. HOWEVER, after speaking with the owner who called me back after talking with the chef, he outlined some menu items they could safely prepare. And they did. My waitress had been alerted, the chef, and the owner came out right before my order to make certain they understood. He has family members with celiac, and gets it. There aren’t a ton of places here that can serve a celiac, but I’d highly recommend this place. I had steamed veggies and cedar planked salmon. The rest of my party enjoyed their meals and the good beer selection. I enjoyed a nice glass of wine.

Food was really good. I had the chicken piccata. Let them know your gluten sensitivity, as they have to change things up. I had a dinner salad without croutons and a wonderful ranch dressing, yum. Glad I found them while traveling.
