We were so excited to try this cafe and wine bar. I have celiac and was pleased to see a plethora of GF labeled options on the menu including bread and pizza crust and thought we stumbled across another safe option in Austin. Everything we attempted to order, clearly labeled GF on the menu, had 1-2 ingredients with wheat (ie soy sauce dressing, flour added to meatloaf and sauce, fries tossed in flour, etc) and serving staff had no idea until pressed to double check with the chef. We asked why they were mislabeled on the menu and the server said we were the tenth complaint that month about the menu errors and the owner doesn’t care.
We tried to make the best of the situation and order food we knew would be safe. Unfortunately food was still pretty poor quality. Ordered an Asian cabbage salad I was so excited about that had no cabbage and nothing Asian about it. Lettuce was field greens and wilted. Had very few added veggies. Again, nothing like the description on the menu.
This place is not safe. I would skip this place.

The owner here is awesome about food allergies! I’ve had all the fish dishes, a few salads, and they even modified the chicken piccata to be gluten free! Never once felt bad leaving here. Also, ask for a gluten free baguette to start your meal :) fantastic little spot!!

Had the tortilla soup, some bagged chips and the veggie sandwich on gf bun for lunch. The bread (roll) was great. Crispy outside and soft inside. I don't feel glutened at all! Online menu is not representative of all of the options.
