When I went here I asked a few different staff members for the gluten free menu. The first one gave me their regular menu and pointed to the key where the allergy symbols were and said the ‘w’ was for wheat so look for those. There wasn’t a ‘w’ symbol on any of the options (even the breads!!) so I thought this was a bit suspicious. I then asked them again for the gluten free menu and in depth allergy list as on the regular menu it said this could be handed out if needed. I never got the GF menu and allergy list and I don’t think they actually had one as we asked 3 waiters for one. In the end another waiter talked through what I could have, essentially all the curries and the rices. I was a bit unsure bc they kept saying about spice level when I asked about gluten. They asked what I would like and went to talk to the chef to double check if it was safe so I appreciated that. They also do not have a dedicated GF kitchen space and one waiter said to me that it’s a small kitchen so it will be a may contain but I would think that’s the same with other places that do regular and GF. In the end I wasn’t ill either that night or over the next day or so, but it was such a faff checking and ordering (more so than normal checking).
