We ate hear after visiting Hidden River Cave and heading to Mammoth Cave. While.there is.no gf menu, they were very accommodating and knowledgeable. Obviously, much of the menu is fried, so gf options are limited. I had grilled.chicken with mushrooms and onions and they cooked it in a separate pan. Several salad options too.

We were passing thru the town so I thought we would try it. Even though there hasn’t been a review since 2019. They do bread somethings with cornstarch but they fry them in oil that also has flour. Nothing marked on the menu. I got a salad and it was huge. Probably could have shared it with 3 people.

Awesome! Had fried perch. They use cornmeal breading. All veggies were prepared dairy free. Ate there twice. Didn’t get sick either time!
Google suggested this place for breakfast when we stayed nearby, and it was definitely a great suggestion. My husband is a big fan of biscuits and gravy, so he chowed down on a generous order of that (he is not gf). I'm "that person" - with Celiac disease I have to ask a lot of questions when visiting restaurants for the first time. Jackie reassured me that the eggs, bacon and fried potatoes were all safe for me. She even let me know they were using a separate pan for my food. The staff and customers were friendly, the food was tasty and plentiful and the price was right. Jackie even threw in a sample of their blackberry cobbler when my husband said he was sorry we wouldn't be around for lunch. Check it out if you are near Horse Cave!
