Not very many gluten free options (fried chicken, meatloaf and a salad) but the fried chicken was delicious. Truth be told, I forgot to call ahead about the chicken so I was really thankful they let me order it! They also have milkshakes that are gf that don’t appear to be anywhere on the menu…? But the chocolate was very good :)

Delicious Pot Pie! They marked our food allergy so we knew we were safe. Edit to add: you can also stop by early and request GF fried chicken if you have a reservation. It’s not listed in the gf menu but they do have it and it’s good!

AMAZING gluten free fried chicken! Had to call an hour ahead of time for the chicken though. Definitely call ahead or you won't get the chicken in that it takes so long to cook. The smores for dessert weren't as expected. More like a cookie then graham cracker. But the chicken was so good that I give them 5 stars. Will go again when I disney.

The food here was good and safe, but I was given a hard time about having food allergies. The waiters here joke with you as part of the theme which is fun, but it hit a little too close to home when they joked about my allergies. Overall, there were only 3 options on the adult menu that were gluten free for lunch, so there wasn’t a ton of variety.

GF fried chicken is so good, you MUST order it ahead of time, go to the stand and just let them know what time your reservation is so they can have the fryer ready

50s prime time cafe was a win! I got gluten free fried chicken with corn and smashed potatoes. It was amazing. Chef Daniel was super kind to talk to me which allowed me to fully enjoy my meal without worry! 10/10 would recommend!

Great experience. Got the GF fried chicken and S’mores and split it with my gf 9 year old. Our chef Daniel has 11 food allergies himself so I was confident in the food he prepared me.

This is always a stop for my family in WDW and was a great comfort dinner. The green beans were delicious however I've had better mashed potatoes on property. Shoutout to our server Jordan for providing such great service. I'm so glad I opted for the s'mores instead of wedge salad for an appetizer lmao! This was only $6-7 and was the perfect size for dessert after a big meal. I cannot emphasize enough how good this was

Great atmosphere and food! I had a wedge salad with grilled chicken. Vegan ranch. It was SO good. I wanted to go back so bad. I felt safe eating there and didn’t get sick.

Got really sick...the waitress said the cheesecake was gluten free - however it was not on the gluten free menu - should have stuck with my gut and not risked it.

Gluten free chicken pot pie!!!!!!!! It was incredible, and I can’t wait to go back and try it again.
Yes
Excellent for gluten free! We got the meatloaf and the stuffed pork chops. We loved the dinning experience but it might not be for everyone. The waiter is your snotty cousin who doesn’t want to wait on you but their aunt is making them. There are old television shows playing on TVs while you play. It was a fun change of dining experience. The portions are a bit small, but you tend to be paying for the experience at Disney anyway. I did not get sick at all, and I am a sensitive Celiac.
Yes
Very good grilled chicken Cesar salad the best!
They offer plenty of gf options. Got the meatloaf for lunch & smores for desert. Felt very comfortable eating here
Yes
Gluten free pot pie was good- but the gluten free “pastry” included was a just piece of gf toast. Pork chop was very overcooked. Loved our waiter’s sass, but felt the food was very overpriced.
Yes
Limited options, but safe! I am super sensitive and didn’t feel any symptoms.
Yes
Our waitress was incredible! She was super helpful and helped me decide on what was best to try. The menu was not huge but I was happy with the options. I tried the stuffed pork chop it was delicious I highly recommend. I did not have room for the dessert but was told the s’mores was the bomb! Everything had allergy markers and staff took incredibly serious which I really appreciate.
Yes
This place was so fun! The entertainment was great and they definitely knew about celiac. the pot pie was fabulous and dessert was awesome

Been here a few times visited again today! Always a great time!!! I had the stuffed pork chop today which was fantastic!! I also had the gluten free grandpa's crab cake! Crab cake was ok but when do you get to eat crab cakes!? They have a couple tasty looking desserts too full today but I have also had the fried chicken which is fantastic!! Make sure you let them know an hour before that you want fried chicken!!
Yes
I appreciated the separate GF menu, and the staff was knowledgeable about GF. I ordered the cesar salad with grilled chicken, and it was very good! The best part was the GF s'mores they offered for dessert. So yummy!
Yes
Separate GF menu, knowledgeable staff! Crabcake was delicious and separate fryers for french fries! I’m celiac but not super sensitive
Yes
Gluten free fried chicken!!! Yess gluten free that they will make in a dedicated gf fryer and YES it was darn delicious! Husband and I had it and felt a bit guilty we didn’t bring the kids but oh well lol. We’ll bring them next time
I had the meatless meatballs (a vegetarian option that was safe for all top 8 allergens!); they were great! Portion was quite large & filling. Was even able to get a dairy free milkshake after talking to the chef! The staff was very helpful for helping me get a meal that would be safe for not just my gluten allergy, but all the food allergies I have.
Yes
From other reviews, I saw that the GF fried chicken takes time to prepare (be sure to put in that order an hour ahead of time!) It was well worth the wait. Tasted incredible! Perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy white and dark meat inside. Don't miss out!
Yes
Great GF chicken...just have to see the chef an hour before you come for your meal so that they can prepare it. First time I've had fried chicken in 5 years and it was amazing!
Yes
Had the stuffed pork chop. It was great. I am very sensitive to gluten and had no issues. Try the s’mores too! Very happy with the 50’s Cafe.
Was not aware that the gluten free items would take longer to make... ended up just ordering a fruit salad. Not satisfied will not return service was not up to par.... aunt seemed not to like her job.
Stuffed pork chop was amazing. Tender and tasty. Definitely get the s’mores dessert.

Good food! And a very "Disney" dining experience. Very on top of allergies! I asked for a gluten free menu when we got our names on the list for a table and he handed us menus to look over while we wait, and then when the hostess called us back she already knew I couldn't have gluten and so did our waiter. When my food came out, it also had an "allergy" toothpick in it so I knew for sure and they knew for sure. The waiter, Gary, was good and also mentioned that most of the menu could be easily adapted for gluten free, and just to let him know, but I ordered off of the allergy menu anyway.
Yes
This place was awesome - I had the stuffed pork chops and we shared the peanut butter and jelly milkshake-sooo good.
Yes
Ordered the chicken Caesar salad and tested it with my Nima sensor. It came out gluten free.
Yes
We have eaten there three times. Each time has been great and no cross contamination. They have a dedicated fryer for French fries. The Pot pie "crust" is two slices of Udis gluten free bread, but still very very good! Chef has been friendly and very accommodating every time.
We stopped by and preordered the fried chicken. It was good but nothing fabulous. It was served with a medley of corn, carrots and potatoes that were all over seasoned and over cooked. We didn't eat much of them. We ordered the s'mores and enjoyed them. I felt the food was only so-so for the prices. Probably won't eat there again as there are better options.
Yes
The kids ate the baked chicken, gf spaghetti and meatless balls, and the s'mores desert here and loved it! A lot of other places we have tried over seasoned the food so much that the kids hated it. Nothing was over seasoned and Nobody was glutened!
Yes
Stopped by a couple hours before my reservation to make sure they could be prepped to make GF fried chicken (I heard to stop by at least 45 mins in advance). They said they'd have it ready - yay!
The fried chicken was good, not amazing, but good. The meatloaf was good too, and the server told me the s'mores dessert had recently changed and wasn't as good, but I got it anyway. It wasn't great (the cookies on the bottom were really hard), but it was nice to have options!
Yes
Chef Nick is amazing!! We made multiple visits this year during our Disney trip & each time we were more & more impressed! The staff, including Mark, Nicole & Rose were all also amazing! Such a fun place to eat & they are all very aware of food allergies & willing to accommodate as much as possible. We have multiple food allergies & still enjoyed several diff. GF dishes including the meatloaf, pot roast, chicken pot pie, GF FRIED chicken (our kids loved it) & don't forget my personal fave the S'mores dessert!! I can't wait to come back again soon! We are very sensitive & have never gotten sick in all of our visits.

Great GF options! I had the meat loaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Yummy!

Staff was knowledgable. Knew to signal the chef of our allergies (two celiac and a peanut) both my son and I ordered meatloaf. It came with mashed potatoes and I asked to sub roasted potatoes which they complied with. Meatloaf tasted good but a little dry. My son didn't mind. His meal cam with a GF brownie and rice milk icecream. The wait staff is funny and a fun atmosphere. So far feeling good after eating here.

This restaurant was amazing. My waitress was very knowledgable about what I could and could not have. I ended up getting Momma's Meatless Meatballs and it was wonderful! I went for my birthday so they brought me ice cream instead of the usual cupcake. It was a wonderful experience. Ask for Sabrina if you go.
Yes
Fried chicken was awesome- order at least an hour before you dine so they can prepare it. Also the s'mores on dessert menu are only available to those ordering off the allergy menu! It's amazing to be able to have something special just for us with celiac! The people next to us tried to order s'mores and weren't able to. It was a total twist on our normal reality! :)

We had lunch here during our day at the park. We had made reservations on the mydisneyexperience app. We had read that in order to have the fried chicken which is not listed on the gluten free menu you need to tell them a while before your reservation. So, we stopped by the front desk of the restaurant a little more than an hour before our reservation and they went and got someone to help me. She took down my name, reservation time and how many people would be ordering fried chicken. My entire family eats gluten free due to my self being intolerant and our 11 yo daughter having celiac. When we arrived for our reservation, I told them we had already stopped by about the fried chicken and he said they would check on it and confirmed they had us down for gluten free. When the hostess called our name to take us to the table our receipt wasn't stamped allergy in red and she had regular menus rather than the allergy menu. So, she went to get us some and the waitress asked where our menus were. We notified her that we were gluten free and we had already ordered 1 gf fried chicken. We all decided we would each try something different. So, my daughter had the stuffed pork chop and my husband had the meatloaf. It still took a while before we got our food but we are accustomed to that so it wasn't a big deal. Everything was good. However, everyone agreed the pork chop was the best. I thought my fried chicken was a little greasy. Almost like they didn't allow it to drain before serving it and I wished it would have come with mashed potatoes instead of the cut potatoes. For dessert, we shared the s'more. This is a must have! Apparently, it looked as good as it tasted because the next table was eyeing our dessert and tried to order it but she told them it was an allergy dessert only. Wow...who knew it was so special! I'm uploading pics as well. We would definitely do this meal again. I also want to add this is the only table service meal so far during a 10 day trip that didn't ask us if we wanted to speak to a chef. If for any reason you need to speak to one just ask.
Yes
Was very excited to get in without a reservation. Had a allergen friendly menu presented to me and I informed my waiter about my celiac. Ordered a crab cake, pot pie and a brownie desert. Not 5 minutes after I was done I was completely ill. Had to run and find a restroom (sorry TMI but the one.in the restaurant had a line) and ultimately I had to leave and go home. Spent $100 on a ticket, and the 5 of us spend over $100 on the meal and I had to leave. Very upset.

GLUTEN FREE FRIED CHICKEN!!! Sooooo delicious! Yes, you should definitely call ahead and request it, but if you don't the chef will make it for you (he did for me and my sister) they will just tell you you might be waiting a long time for it (we only had to wait about 45 minutes). They also have gluten free pot pie, a gluten free brownie dessert, and delicious milkshakes. Even before my sister and I knew we have celiac disease our family loved this restaurant because it is delicious and a fun atmosphere for everyone. Even now that we are in our twenties we still have enjoy the 50s sitcom reels and the waitresses yelling at us to get our elbows off the table!
Yes
The food was amazing! The GF fried chicken was fantastic but call ahead at least 24 hrs bc the will not cook it for you if you don't. The chef was very knowledgeable.
Loved the gf Fried Chicken! Call or order ahead- we stopped by when we got to the park to request. Didn't love the gf crab cake. S'mores dessert and shakes were yummy
The chef came out and described the menu. They have gluten free pot pie and meatloaf, among other items. For dessert they have gluten free brownie sundae and cheesecake. Everything was delicious. We even got the recipe for their gluten free meatloaf.
