Staff was knowledgable. Knew to signal the chef of our allergies (two celiac and a peanut) both my son and I ordered meatloaf. It came with mashed potatoes and I asked to sub roasted potatoes which they complied with. Meatloaf tasted good but a little dry. My son didn't mind. His meal cam with a GF brownie and rice milk icecream. The wait staff is funny and a fun atmosphere. So far feeling good after eating here.
This restaurant was amazing. My waitress was very knowledgable about what I could and could not have. I ended up getting Momma's Meatless Meatballs and it was wonderful! I went for my birthday so they brought me ice cream instead of the usual cupcake. It was a wonderful experience. Ask for Sabrina if you go.
Fried chicken was awesome- order at least an hour before you dine so they can prepare it. Also the s'mores on dessert menu are only available to those ordering off the allergy menu! It's amazing to be able to have something special just for us with celiac! The people next to us tried to order s'mores and weren't able to. It was a total twist on our normal reality! :)
We had lunch here during our day at the park. We had made reservations on the mydisneyexperience app. We had read that in order to have the fried chicken which is not listed on the gluten free menu you need to tell them a while before your reservation. So, we stopped by the front desk of the restaurant a little more than an hour before our reservation and they went and got someone to help me. She took down my name, reservation time and how many people would be ordering fried chicken. My entire family eats gluten free due to my self being intolerant and our 11 yo daughter having celiac. When we arrived for our reservation, I told them we had already stopped by about the fried chicken and he said they would check on it and confirmed they had us down for gluten free. When the hostess called our name to take us to the table our receipt wasn't stamped allergy in red and she had regular menus rather than the allergy menu. So, she went to get us some and the waitress asked where our menus were. We notified her that we were gluten free and we had already ordered 1 gf fried chicken. We all decided we would each try something different. So, my daughter had the stuffed pork chop and my husband had the meatloaf. It still took a while before we got our food but we are accustomed to that so it wasn't a big deal. Everything was good. However, everyone agreed the pork chop was the best. I thought my fried chicken was a little greasy. Almost like they didn't allow it to drain before serving it and I wished it would have come with mashed potatoes instead of the cut potatoes. For dessert, we shared the s'more. This is a must have! Apparently, it looked as good as it tasted because the next table was eyeing our dessert and tried to order it but she told them it was an allergy dessert only. Wow...who knew it was so special! I'm uploading pics as well. We would definitely do this meal again. I also want to add this is the only table service meal so far during a 10 day trip that didn't ask us if we wanted to speak to a chef. If for any reason you need to speak to one just ask.
Was very excited to get in without a reservation. Had a allergen friendly menu presented to me and I informed my waiter about my celiac. Ordered a crab cake, pot pie and a brownie desert. Not 5 minutes after I was done I was completely ill. Had to run and find a restroom (sorry TMI but the one.in the restaurant had a line) and ultimately I had to leave and go home. Spent $100 on a ticket, and the 5 of us spend over $100 on the meal and I had to leave. Very upset.
GLUTEN FREE FRIED CHICKEN!!! Sooooo delicious! Yes, you should definitely call ahead and request it, but if you don't the chef will make it for you (he did for me and my sister) they will just tell you you might be waiting a long time for it (we only had to wait about 45 minutes). They also have gluten free pot pie, a gluten free brownie dessert, and delicious milkshakes. Even before my sister and I knew we have celiac disease our family loved this restaurant because it is delicious and a fun atmosphere for everyone. Even now that we are in our twenties we still have enjoy the 50s sitcom reels and the waitresses yelling at us to get our elbows off the table!
The food was amazing! The GF fried chicken was fantastic but call ahead at least 24 hrs bc the will not cook it for you if you don't. The chef was very knowledgeable.
Loved the gf Fried Chicken! Call or order ahead- we stopped by when we got to the park to request. Didn't love the gf crab cake. S'mores dessert and shakes were yummy
AMAZING gluten free fried chicken! Had to call an hour ahead of time for the chicken though. Definitely call ahead or you won't get the chicken in that it takes so long to cook. The smores for dessert weren't as expected. More like a cookie then graham cracker. But the chicken was so good that I give them 5 stars. Will go again when I disney.
The chef came out and described the menu. They have gluten free pot pie and meatloaf, among other items. For dessert they have gluten free brownie sundae and cheesecake. Everything was delicious. We even got the recipe for their gluten free meatloaf.
Not bad, lots of options and friendly staff. We probably wouldn't go back due to what you get for the price.
We had GF fried chicken which was really good ( u hv to order it an hour in advance.) besides that, sides were gross, & Ur borderline harassed by the staff. The only reason they get 4 stars is for the fried chicken, & there's a ton of it ( 1/2 chicken). So, bring Ur appetite!
Very knowledgable staff. Chef came out to explain options. Delicious gluten-free pot pie. Omission beer available. Fun place!
Love this restaurant! The staff was funny and exciting! I would definitely recommend!
Best fried chicken ever ! We pre ordered it so we didn't have to wait the 45 mins :)
AMAZING! Staff is super knowledgeable and friendly! Chicken pot pie was so good and they have gluten free desserts. You can also get GF fried chicken just make sure to call ahead it takes a out 45 minutes to cook
Didn't get sick, but the quality of food was sub-par compared to other gluten-free offerings at Disney World. As others have mentioned in their reviews of this place, the chicken pot-pie was just the filling with a thin slice of GF bread. Very under-whelming. We went thinking we could get GF fried chicken, but the waiter pushed the pot-pie. Maybe something else would have been more appetizing.
Wanted the fried chicken but someone else had just ordered so we were told it would be an hour plus wait. The chef and server were pretty much clueless about helping order GF. Went with the pot roast. It was dry, bland and just not good. Thankfully no one got sick. Server was boring too - none if the fun stuff you hear about!
I had a tasty GF meal and my non-GF family did as well. We became part of the entertainment in our section and had great fun. The staff was very knowledgable. I recommend this restaurant!
I wanted the friend chicken but was told it would be about an hour to make it. I got the gluten free meatloaf. It was yummy with mash potatoes and green beans. For dessert I got a chocolate milkshake made gluten and dairy free. Very yummy.
Amazing gluten free fried chicken and chicken pot pie. Also gluten free brownie sundae and more. Chef comes out to review menu and is very knowledgeable. Changed oil in fryer for order. Very good service. One of the best GF experiences.
