When asked if they had GF options , we were told “we don’t do that here”. Waitress adamantly stated they don’t serve GF and can make no changes to their menu to accommodate.

Had a great meal; Vaca Frita (shredded beef), plantains, and congri rice (rice mixed with black beans)! The mojito was so delicious and refreshing!!

Cuban food is usually pretty safe. (White rice, black beans, Steak, fried plantains, etc.) By default, a lot of the Cuban spices are natural, like onions, garlic, cumin, lime, cilantro, etc. Be careful, though - their oxtail stew is prepared in beer, and it is not a dedicated gluten free restaurant, but someone who is gluten intolerant will probably be ok as long as they know their own bodies and are not afraid to ask questions. Read their website before going, and ask your server if what you want is fried with anything breaded.
