Reaction after eating the shrimp fajitas.

I've always had a very good experience at Abuelo's and have eaten there several times. The gluten free menu could have more choices....but then once I tried the bacon wrapped shrimp fajita's I doubt I will ever try anything else anyway. Those are awesome!!

Every staff member I have spoken to has been knowledgeable. I even asked about the mints to be sure they were GF, they said they had called the factory and confirmed that they were safe.

Judging by previous reviews, this place is hit or miss. With me, they missed. Had a reaction - I'm guessing due to cross contamination. Be careful.

Great experience. I had a very knowledgeable server who was very aware. He went into extensive detail explaining. I'd go back. My fajitas were delicious.

There is a separate gluten sensitive corner on the menu with enough choices. And I couldn’t choose and the chef made a surprise dinner for me. Super tasteful and super nice. 10/10. Can I move this restaurant to the Netherlands? ;-)

My husband and I eat here regularly. They have a gluten sensitive menu. There is no dedicated fryer, but they will bring you baked chips. Only one of the salasas (green) is gluten free. Portions are huge and we always have left overs. Staff is always nice.

This place has a limited gluten “sensitive” list on their menu. Mexican food tends to be naturally gluten free, so I was surprised it was such a small list. But, it was tasty. Chips probably are CC, we didn’t ask (husband with celiac didn’t eat them).
