Total bummer of an experience at Acqua. There have been so many great reviews of Acqua in White Bear Lake that we went last week (I’m a celiac). I noted on my reservation I was a celiac and also discussed it extensively with the server prior to ordering. Server asked if we wanted GF bread, of course I did. They have a team of servers working the area and another dropped off the bread. As I was taking a bite our sever came over to say that wasn’t the gluten free bread (should have known it looked too good). Should I have confirmed when it was set down that it was GF? Yes, absolutely. But this one time I didn’t, and now am paying for it dearly. Our server of course felt horrible, but that couldn’t change what occurred. Based on my experience there’s no way I’ll go back. If you go, be more diligent than me and verify every item placed on your table.

We had a family dinner there and my son was excited to have pasta. We were told that 75% of the menu is naturally gluten free. Dinner was great, server knew what gluten free meant, and my son didn't get sick. All around a good experience.
Excellent options for gluten free. Staff is knowledgable and wonderful service.
This restaurant was amazing. Sat out by the lake enjoying great gluten free food. They were very gluten free friendly - almost everything on the menu was an option - they had GF bread, pasta, etc... Would definitely recommend!
