Adelphia Restaurant & Lounge

I ordered the Adelphia burger. I alerted the server to a gluten allergy and asked for the burger gluten free. A different server brought me my food and I even double checked with them it was gluten free. About two bites into the burger I noticed in the middle there was bits of breaded and fried onion. Checked with the server- not gluten free. They offered to remake my food even though I was already feeling kinda sick by the time I got someone’s attention. I just called about getting a refund and the owners hopefully going to call me back. Having a very painful night because of this.

Not far off the highway as we go DC to NYC, it’s great to have a delicious well-seasoned Philly cheese steak sub on GF bread that passes with flying colors.

The gluten free choices are marked on their regular menu with a large red GF. The waiting person I had seemed to be knowledgeable about food contents on the menu. The food was very good.
