Afuri Ramen + Dumpling

I had a meal here and had a good experience ordering; there were 3 items that could be made gluten free, and asked my server to tell the kitchen which I believe they did. My meal was yummy. But after eating it, I don’t believe it was truly celiac safe. I’m very sensitive and don’t feel well after eating. If you’re truly a sensitive celiac, I’d be careful eating here.

I've been here twice in the last week, and they have been so lovely. They even remembered me the second time and checked to see if their procedures had worked the previous time. They open new containers/bags of ingredients to ensure that there hasn't been contamination for me, and they bring everything else in separate little bowls so I can put it together myself. When I get my receipt to pay, there's a note on it that says "no contact with gluten," so I can tell that they're taking care of my through the whole process.

The gluten free options are sparse, but the one that I have eaten was so good that I was happy to go back again. I'm a huge fan of Asian food, but finding it safe to eat out since my recent diagnosis has been almost impossible. Discovering this gem of delicious Japanese food has been so heartening!

Only two gluten free options but it's the first time I found celiac safe tonkotsu ramen! They cook the noodles separately and are very careful for celiac prep. Recommend!

Good gluten free option for ramen. The broth is a little light and only 2 options for gluten free ramen substitutes. Very expensive compared to normal ramen restaurants. However I love going there when I crave ramen. The branch is directly from Japan. I have had it in Japan and price was better there.
