This place is very accommodating to Celiacs! I had the steak with truffle fries. Absolutely delicious. The fries are cooked in their own fryer.

Yummy burger, great location, & the menu is labeled with options. My husband and I split a burger and had truffle fries. It was delicious!

We have two teenage children, both with celiac and then other life threatening allergies (eggs, nuts, and shellfish). Ajax Tavern was very accommodating. GF items are marked on the menu. Our server seemed knowledgable about ingredients and cross contact and said that she would share everything with chefs and that they would be very careful. One of the chefs then came out to speak with us (without us having to ask). We ordered truffle fries (in their own fryer, no risk of cross contact). Our son ordered the double cheeseburger with a GF bun and regular fries and our daughter ordered the roasted chicken (without the peanuts). Everyone enjoyed their food a lot! It's pricey but it's Aspen...you don't go to Aspen to find good deals on restaurants!

They were very understanding and accommodating to my gluten free and corn free restrictions. They provided me with gluten free bread and a freshly made hummus dip before my meal. I ordered a salad and it was so beautifully made! I enjoyed eating something new and delicious.

A little pricey for what you get, but the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They knew that the fries were cross contaminated so offered a side dish substitution. They went and got a gluten free hamburger bun from Element 47 (sister restaurant by same owners).
