I’m not sure how knowledgeable and careful staff are in the kitchen when it comes to cross contamination. We’ve tried this place twice and my celiac daughter felt sick after both attempts.

One of our go to Mexican restaurants. The menu is throughly marked. Staff is very knowledgeable on celiac disease. The menu is marked. My current favorite is the salsa verde chicken enchiladas.

Al Pastor is this Celiac’s go to restaurant. Brenna is the best, she knows the menu backwards and upside down and understands all the potential cross contamination points. We always request her! The last time I went, I ordered something different because I trusted she could let me know if it was safe and she schooled me! I appreciate her and the cooking staff at Al Pastor. It’s the one place I feel like I can have a normal evening out with friends and family. They do have GF items marked on their menu and you can see the GF menu items online too. The drinks are also excellent. Thank you Brenna and the Al Pastor team!

Chips are fried in a separate fryer and if you want one of the types of tacos that are fried, they will grill the instead for you.

Love the nachos!! Chicken tacos amazing as well.
