Fantastic little restaurant that has several gluten-free options. They aren't listed on the menu as gluten-free, but we spoke in length with the extremely friendly, hospitable, and helpful owner, who assured us that the arepas and empanadas are gluten free and made solely of corn. The food tastes absolutely delicious and you get soooo much of it! Although we didn't have it, the owner also explained that we could have the cachapas, as they are also gluten free. They don't have dedicated gluten-free fryers, so this would not be appropriate for people who are celiac. I am a very sensitive non-celiac gluten intolerant, and I get ridiculously sick and wind up in very severe, full body pain for a week when I accidentally ingest gluten. I didn't have any symptoms afterwards.
