I have celiac and did not get sick eating here. The owner herself has Celiac, which is comforting. I had a GF omelet, toast, hollandaise, and home fries, no issues with the food. My husband ate a normal meal.

The place is super small, but overall good food, and nice staff. I would definitely come back for breakfast.

For a little hole in the wall joint we were really impressed. The owner has celiac so she literally will make anything on the menu gluten free. Pancakes were really good. We will actually be going back for a lunch in the future.

I’m so sad to say this, since the women that worked there were SOOO nice and a lot of the menu is gluten free, but the food was mediocre. I got the French toast (which was just kind of like thin slices of bread that had some sugar on them), and hungry man omelette (which was a super thin amount of egg, and not that much filling inside of it).

When I got this app I was excited to try and find a place that had gluten-free pancakes because I am a big pancake person and sometimes you don’t want to make them at home lol. So I saw that this place was pretty close and they had a HUGE! Gluten-free menu (both for breakfast and lunch) and I ordered their pancakes through doordash. They were really good, and big enough that I could have some leftovers the next day :) the only reason I said that I was only somewhat confident with how they handle the gluten-free food was that this was my first time eating from there. But it won’t be my last.

I’m thankful this place exists, where I can order an awesome diner breakfast or lunch without worrying. And it’s great diner food - nice and simple. Coffee’s good, the GF French toast is awesome. They put their muffins on the grill in the bacon grease.....yyyyyyum.

Very large GF menu, which they bring to the table (you don’t have to ask for one). Their shirts say Gluten Free and their are GF specials posted on the wall. Food and service was great. We stopped on the way to the airport. Wish there was one where I live! Side note: It is a small place - couldn’t do a big group.

I've had Alice's Diner bookmarked for years in the app, but we just had our first chance to go. All of the positive reviews are spot on and not exaggerating. Almost too many choices! (We're thinking about all of the things we didn't get!) Very, very unassuming place, but food was delicious. GF Portuguese Sweet Bread actually brought a tear to my eye! Staff was very friendly and explained that owner has had Celiac for 14 or so years. We're over an hour away, but already planning a return trip. Coffee was delicious, too! Only anomaly was that my husband's GF biscuits and gravy was very light on gravy and the biscuits were very dry and hard. Everything else was so good that we think maybe the biscuits and gravy were just having a bad day. Alice's Dinner is a must visit if you're anywhere near Fall River!

This amazing little place will be my new go to when traveling home. I had the GF cheesesteak and malasadas. For those of you who don’t know about malasadas it’s the Portuguese version of fried dough and they’re heavenly! There were so many options I almost became tearful. It’s hard for non Celiacs to understand how much food consumes our thoughts when eating out. What a joy to eat somewhere that allows for so many safe options. On top of the GF goodness, the staff was beyond friendly and helpful. I asked about t shirts so I can support the restaurant, the waitress said they didn’t have any but said if her shirt was newer she’d give me hers! I hope many people find this gem and support a wonderful owner and her staff!

I was recently diagnosed with a gluten intolerance. I am 41 yrs old and have never had any issues with it until now so needless to say I thought adjusting to this kind of diet was going to be hard considering I am addicted to pancakes and french toast. I prefer sweet instead of savory for breakfast. I found this amazing gem while searching for a place that has gluten free pancakes. I was extremely pleased with the food. The pancakes and french toast were so delicious and you couldn’t even tell they were gluten-free that’s how good they were. I drove 40 min from RI and I am definitely coming back. I would highly recommend anyone with a gluten intolerance to come here as well.

Awesome hidden spot on the Fall River/Tiverton line. The owner is Portuguese and Celiac so has a dedicated diner menu and separate appliances for GF food. I highly recommend the sweet bread and cheese bread!!

Highly recommended. Wide selection of GF choices. My son's GF pancakes were very good. Even had GF cinnamon rolls and fried dough. Super friendly staff, Alice and on weekends her daughter. Wish we lived closer because Alice's would be on our favorites list. The GF chourico was excellent and is my new favorite sausage.

it's does have gluten free options but lot of the food seems to be microwaved and not fresh and over priced. not good customer service, Evan though it's a small dinner when you find a hair in the food they didn't offer to take it off the bill and it wasn't eaten .

So yummy! In the area for a college tour and had gluten free fish and chips which was amazing!
