Alligator Pear

I visited this new spot for a happy hour date and was surprised to see the food menu has many GF and V designated items. We ordered drinks at the upstairs bar area which has a great atmosphere - I notified the server of my gluten allergy and she was very knowledgeable and mentioned the French fries have a separate fryer and that she can tell the chef about the allergy to ensure it is safe. I was hesitant to try a lot due to lack of reviews but we ordered the veggie jumbalaya which was brought in a small iron pan and it was very yummy and I did not get sick! I am a sensitive celiac and had a good experience with the limited item I tried. I was impressed with the staff knowledge and hope to try more in the future
