Incredibly rude about celiac. Unhelpful and the options were exceptionally limited. Not sure who recommended this, but thanks for wasting our time.

We were offered 2 choices of gf dishes - Ali plate (which is gf if they do not include pasta salad) and grilled veggies with rice. We ate there 3 times. The first time we ordered Ali plate and asked to make sure it is made gluten free - when the meal showed up, it had pasta salad on the plate - they just removed the salad (I guess, it happens, miscommunication). The third time we ate, we mentioned that the first time we got the pasta salad with meal, wanted to make sure we don't get it again - and the third time we again got the pasta salad inside the plate. You can make conclusions yourself aboit the level of concern for gluten inside the kitchen.

Very inattentive wait staff, gf options very limited. They did substitute Kaluha pork for the beef patty on the loco moco because they put breadcrumbs in their beef patties. Food was bland in comparison to other local places.

Not a ton of options, but the staff was knowledgeable. I got the kalua pig plate with poke and they made it with tamari so that I could have it. Good food and not bad prices! The ocean view can’t be beat.

Great atmosphere and food...The Alii plate with salad instead of mac salad was wonderful! Loads of food, great drinks, good price, outside winds right on the ocean! Ask server for gf items.

I had a very good omelet and they accommodated gluten free but I believe it was a risk. Server was not sure what to watch for but was attentive and followed through with a great meal.

Ate here after reading about it on Nom Nom Paleo. Limited GF options, but the kalua pork is reportedly GF, and delicious. Requested the pork on a lettuce salad (not on the menu), which they happily accommodated (though the salad originally came out with croutons on it, so we had to send it back - they did immediately and apologetically note understanding of their mistake). Did not get glutenized on this occasion, but I'm not sure it would be at the top of my list to return, given the limited options and the crouton incident. Mala/Honu/Frida's next door may be a better, if more expensive, choices. The view/setting are great, though! (On the water)
