Review of Alternative Fuel Coffee House

Overall not impressed. I echo the other review about the sandwich being small for the price. Also, we order ciabatta but it was definitely more like a gf french roll. Our order took almost 15 min with no others waiting (for a deli club, so not a cooked or hot sandwich). They also forgot our coffee orders, the coffee didn’t taste good, and one of them was wrong. I’m going to chalk it up to then training a new team member but honestly, we could have just gone to Jersey Mikes and stopped for better coffee elsewhere for less money and time. Not worth it.

Amber. GF items are not easy to prepare no matter how fast the staff are. And if there is a line of orders, the preparations to complete to ensure gf items are impeccably taken care of increases that time table. Thus the length at which it took to receive your food. And correct, training new staff is a huge learning curve at the register, at the barista bar, and in the kitchen. Glad you enjoy Jersey Mikes. Nope, we are not them. Nor will we ever be. I apologize for the delay, for the wasted time that you felt you had during this visit, and for the incorrect and disliked coffee.
