Their Gluten Free Menu is awesome - they have gluten-free Fried Chicken and Joe Joe's ( potato wedges) now offered every day & they have gluten-free pizza ( which is amazing- they get the crusts from Kathy’s Creations in Alliance OH - made with GAR-FAVA flour) any day of the week, along with gluten-free desserts most days. Glutenfree pasta as well. Take out only, btw. It's so good it's worth the drive (1.25 hours from PA/OH border). I usually buy a bunch of the chicken to take home & freeze so I can just pop a piece in the toaster oven when the family gets KFC . Staff very accommodating as well. You can't go wrong with Altieri's .

I’ve ordered the gluten free fried chicken, and JoJo’s two times now and they are excellent had no issues. They’re very conscious of gluten-free preparation there.

Gluten Free Wonderland!!!! They truly get what Celiac Safe means, dedicated everything, fryers, pizza pans, cutters ect. Food has always been safe eating from here and I never worry about it either!! Just about everything can be made gluten free without a ridiculous up charge. The fried chicken that tastes like normal fried chicken and a GF pizza crust that’s not cauliflower with perfect texture and taste!! I love this place!!

We have been getting gluten free chicken, Jojo fries, pizza and gf desserts. All are excellent and delish. No issues with contamination which is very appreciated. We drive 30 minutes to get their take out. Only wish would be to have the option to eat inside.

We really enjoyed our visit, the staff were wonderful! My daughter who has celiac loved the fact that pretty much anything on the menu had a gluten free version available. She had fried chicken and jojos. They were fantastic. The rest of the non-celiac family all had pizza and agreed that it was one of the best we’ve had! We will be back!

So understanding and kind! We were told the owners have Celiac Disease so the staff have down the safety measures to prevent cross contact. We loved it so much we ate there twice while we were in the area! The fried chicken, jojos, and gluten free pizza (with dairy free cheese) was so delicious! Wish we could visit more often!

I used to work in a local grocery store (named in the large avian family) that served fried chicken and I ate my fair share for lunch before going GF a couple years ago now… I don’t even miss the old stuff. Genuinely fantastic! Very so often my family (cousins, etc) gets together for pizza, wings, and jojos. It’s great that we’re able to pick up a box and enjoy dinner with everyone.

OMG! The food was so good! One thing I didn’t know before coming, this place is carry out only. There is no seating. That being said, they have so many gluten free options to choose from. They have pizza, pasta, subs, garlic knots, fried chicken, and even cannoli that are all gluten-free. I had the BEST meatball sub. Bread was tasty, meatballs were yummy. Highly recommend! I have been craving cannoli for years and theirs did not disappoint. Highly knowledgeable about gluten-free safe practices. Highly recommend, will go again when in town.

Alrieri’s was one of the first places my mother found in the area with gluten free fried chicken. They used to only do it 2-3 days a week but they now offer it every day which is nice. My mother and my son both have Celiac. The whole family likes the gluten free chicken and Jo-Jo’s (Even my other picky eater) and neither of them have gotten sick from it. The staff is very friendly and accommodating any time we have been there. They also offer gluten free pasta but we have never tried it.

Amazing GF place for fellow celiacs. Had the pizza a few weeks ago which was fantastic and came back yesterday for the fried chicken and jojo's which was heaven. Dedicated frier and staff is so knowledgeable about options and how everything is handled. Staff member even washed their hands just to hand me my order even though they weren't going to touch the physical food. Worth the 50 minute drive!

We absolutely LOVE this place!!! They have the best gluten free pizza, chicken AND Jo-Jos. My daughter loves everything we have tried and has never gotten ill eating any of their items. Highly recommend checking them out!

Highly trained staff when it comes to GF! They are aware of the risk of cross contamination and if they do contaminate something they start over.

Their gluten free pizza is the best out there, hands down. They also offer gluten free wings in almost every variety!

Amazing gluten-free options! Fried chicken and wings, jojo's, pizza, pasta, even GF cannoli! They are careful about cross contamination, and use a separate fryer and kitchen space. Everything tasted great, I especially enjoyed the pizza sauce and crust. Carry out only, but well worth it.

Have been here a few times over the past year while visiting my sibling that lives there.

Best pizza crust I have ever had, the chicken is a real treat, and the cannolis are amazing. Have never had a reaction and will definitely be back again. I recommend the Bianca pizza or the margarita pizza. Have dedicated frier, staff takes allergies seriously.

According to non-celiac family members the regular food is really good too.

I just ❤ this place. They serve fried chicken and jojos that are gluten free. Wow what a treat. Even though it's 40 minutes from us, we decided to make the trek every other Thursday. Totally worth it! They also have various desserts by a place called Kathy's creations.It's different every time but I've loved everything!

We stopped here last week on the way back to NJ after visiting Kent State. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and the pizza was delicious! We got 2 different gf pizzas and cannolis to go and loved them. We will try wings and chicken next time. Thank you!

How many places can you get GF pizza, subs, pasta, fried chicken and cannoli in one place? One of the cooks has Celiac and was very helpful. The food was delicious. My only problem was choosing what to have. Everything was delicious.

Alteris is a great option for GF diners! They have plenty of choices; it's the only place I trust to get subs or pizza. And I have never gotten sick! I couldn't recommend it more.

Staff is knowledgeable, food is absolutely amazing. Love the cookies they get in from a Celiac Baker. There’s at least one Celiac in the kitchen (as of Feb 2018), so that makes ya feel safe!

Very knowledgeable staff and delicious FRIED GF chicken wings and JoJo potatoes available Tuesday through Thursday. Subs with GF buns, pizza or pasta available. Always a gluten free dessert available, including cannoli! Love this place! I am celiac, I have eaten there a lot and have never had an issue.
