Altony's Italian Cafe and Wine Bar

They have a gluten free menu, but the server was not at all knowledgeable about celiac. They only had one GF menu item the night I went there for dinner, so while they have an extensive menu they did not have options for me. I was too concerned about cross-contamination based on the lack of knowledge from the staff so I didn’t trust that I could eat there.

I got the pesto penne with shrimp. It was awesome. I let them know right away I had celiacs. They understood and I never got sick.

I've eaten at Altony's 3 times now and haven't been sick. Before trying Altony's, I called and confirmed with the owner that everything was made in a separate part of the kitchen using GF dedicated utinsils. Because it's a pasta place I recommend exercising caution but it has been wonderful for me.
