Amore Italian Market and Bakery

Absolutely wonderful Italian bakery and cafe but the chance of cross-contamination was way too high for me. Both regular and gluten free items were displayed together. They did mark the gluten-free offerings, but I felt it was too risky since they were sitting with the rest of the baked goods?! I’m so disappointed. Sadly not safe!

Gosh I love this place so much. I call in advance and get a gf tiramisu but you can call in advance and get other items too. They will make it when they are not prepping other things. Whatever it is they do, I have done the tiramisu on two separate occasions and not gotten sick. The thumbprint cookies are delicious too.

Wonderful gf jam thumbprint cookies. They were moist and flavorful. Several other gf cookies offered. With a few days notice they can make lots of their prepared Italian dishes gf as well. They carry gf pasta and even a gf Panettone. Wonderful bakery and market.

Had an absolutely delicious gluten free Dutch apple pie!! Aunt Susie knows how to pull off gluten free that’s for sure! 💕 they are not a dedicated gluten free kitchen but are very cautious and bake gluten free desserts and meals first each day. They can take requests for meals and desserts if you give them a couple of days notice!

They usually have some gluten free options available, but with at least a 24 hour notice they can make almost anything gluten free. Everything was delicious and the staff was very accommodating! We brought bread in (since they were out) to get sandwiches for a picnic and ordered a cannoli cake to pick up the next day.
