Good penne pasta dish and bacon wrapped scallops appetizer - without getting sick! I called ahead after reading all the bad reviews, but the woman I talked to was very accommodating and so was my server.

I had a great meal here and took family back but on the second visit got glutened and was very sick. I am sure it was an issue with the server as she seemed a bit frazzled.

They can do pretty much anything gluten free. If your gluten free on Federal Hill you really got to go to the restaurants on the weekdays that's when they can accommodate you the best. I had the pasta and white clam sauce gluten free and it was very good.

Andino's has had the best Italian cuisine forever, and my family have loved going there for special events. Our daughter was diagnosed with Celiac last year, and we were concerned about going to a restaurant known for pasta.....I called this afternoon to confirm that they had GF pasta and they confirmed that they did, and that the kitchen could accommodate the menu for a GF diet. Thirty minutes after ordering tonight, we were informed that they were out of GF pasta. The manager came over apologetically and suggested to my daughter that she order the Gnocchi, which they get from a wonderful local Italian store. He explained that this is what they typically recommend when they are out of GF pasta. I immediately looked it up online to discover that there is flour in the Gnocchi and it is not GF at all. (http://www.vendaravioli.com/shopexd.asp?id=28) I am writing this to warn people they the staff at this restaurant, both servers and management obviously are not educated about Celiac and Gluten-Free issues.

One of the best gf meals I've had in a long time. I had a pasta dish with veal Medallions. I still think about it a year later.

I LOVE Andino's. It's a special little place that has always catered to my gluten free needs, even before they had the menu.

Nice old world atmosphere and great tasting food from app to dessert, pasta and main courses are always wonderfully prepared and flavorful.

Thanks Andino's!
