Another Broken Egg Cafe

Sadly I was glutened by this restaurant. I split the gf pancakes with my husband and had the shrimp and grits off the gf menu. Let the waitress know I have celiac. I was so excited to try their gf menu but it took several days to recover.

I can’t say enough about this restaurant!! Our waitress, Shay, was very attentive. She had a great personality from the beginning so make sure you ask for her when you go! When I asked for the gluten free menu (they have An area the at the bottom of the menu letting you know they have one), she grabbed one. She made sure to tell me that the pancakes were amazing, and she was right!! I think that was the first real meal I’ve had in a month! I didn’t get the name of the lady that came from the kitchen, but she trains the kitchen in new restaurants. She came out to talk and was amazing also. Fabulous people and an amazing amount of concern, which is rare when you have to eat gluten free. The menu does say that it’s “gluten friendly”, that there is a possibility of cross contamination, however I still feel safe eating there.

We love to eat here. They have GF pancakes and omelettes mare with real eggs, not liquid eggs. Great service always.

The staff was great. It clearly states that you can ask for a gluten free menu. They are not celiac friendly but that is also clearly stated on their menu.

We loved this place, went several times. Their menu is gluten friendly but felt safe eating there after our waitress’ extensive knowledge. Really great sandwiches and breakfast items.

Awful breakfast. Gluten friendly menu but no separate toaster. Overpriced and I barely ate my eggs because they were drenched in butter. Grits were gross and I couldn’t get the bread toasted. My daughter liked the pancakes.
