I went and told the staff that I have Celiac, a gluten allergy. I ordered the shrimp and grits that’s on both the gf and regular menu. Sure enough, within 45 minutes I had a huge reaction. Would not suggest for celiacs. It was very good though :/

The hostess was not too friendly, but the servers were VERY friendly and helpful. They know what gluten is and have a special menu for us. It’s friendly, but not a totally gluten free place so cross contamination is a possibility.
Yes
They have a horrible service! They don’t know what products has gluten or not . They even ask if eggs has gluten and This is a horrible place. My daughter ordered chocolate milk and she was given an alcoholic beverage. Plus she is allergic to treenuts and peanuts and the beverage was made with Nutella. This place needs to be close.
I don't recommend this place if you have Celiac Disease and sensitive to cross contamination-like me. They don't have a separate frier for potatoes, etc. They don't know if their coffees have gluten & they don't have separate cooking utensils.
We discovered this charming breakfast spot on a recent trip to Baton Rouge. Items that are gluten free are marked clearly with a GF. The first time I had their giant GF pancake, and it was fabulous. The second time II had their Blackberry grits and bacon. They also serve all sorts of lattes and cappuccinos. It's a lovely "Modern Old South" atmosphere both inside and outside, where tables and chairs line a oversize covered porch.

Great options for gluten allergy. The scramble was excellent. GF pancakes were great, too.

Banana Fosters gluten friendly pancakes were delicious. Be prepared-they are very sweet.
Scrambled eggs were undercooked and runny in the middle. I couldn’t eat them.
Bacon was delicious and cooked perfectly.

Went with my celiac husband for breakfast today, we confirmed several times he had an allergy and not just a sensitivity and they reassured us they use separate pans, etc and take precautions to prevent any exposure. They told us to stay away from potatoes which we did and there was a miscommunication and they gave him the wrong food which made him nervous. They fixed their error and got him a new omelet and he did end up with a reaction soon after. I WILL say I appreciate the separate menu, and that they warned us that their food is not guaranteed to be GF but they try to limit. The waiter also really did seem to knowledgeable with what was best or worst to get. You’re rolling the dice eating here for sure if you have celiac.

Went here for breakfast twice. Nice place, gluten free bread and gluten free pancakes. Both were decent. Staff were knowledgeable.
