The waitress took me through the entire menu and marked down on my paper menu what was safe for me. I’d say about 70% of the menu was naturally gluten free. She warned me that fries were in same fryer as the fried green tomatoes so I didn’t consider those, but there’s so much good food to choose from that you shouldn’t be eating fries here anyway! I had the beet salad and grouper curry entree, both were delicious! The hazelnut chocolate cake is also GF! Tastes a bit like a chocolate soufflé cake, with chunks of hazelnuts and some caramel sauce. I had the ice cream on the side because I’m sensitive to some gums (guar, Tara, carrageenan, etc). The restaurant looks very old school Charleston establishment, in what looks like a former stable/carriage house possibly. If you want traditional Charleston food offerings this is a good choice. My husband had the shrimp and grits and loved it. If you’re looking for the hottest latest trendy restaurant, this place doesn’t give off that vibe. But it was excellent service and more of an old school classic vibe which we liked. My only suggestion is that they should have flowers on the tables. Seemed a little bare with only a candle.

Excellent shrimp and grits! They have gluten free items marked on the menus in the restaurant (not online) and there are four or five choices (a salad, steak, shrimp and grits, grouper and scallops). My non-celiac friend had the veal special and said it was out of this world. I had the shrimp and grits with a glass of Pinot Grigio and both were enjoyable. Cute atmosphere - we got to eat upstairs by a window.

The server was very knowledgeable, she went thru the menu with me and marked the gluten free items. I had a beet and burrata salad and the Shrimp and grits which were amazing. They also had a gluten free chocolate hazelnut cake with vanilla ice cream that was also delicious! I would definitely go here again.

I enjoyed my meal — goat cheese smashed potatoes for an appetizer, shrimp and grits and cream brûlée- without any sick effects! 👏 The menu is pretty small anyhow so I’d say there are about 5-7 GF options including shrimp cocktail, a salad option, shrimp and grits, filet with green beans and smashed potatoes, and the specials of the evening were grouper and swordfish which were also GF.

They are were sure to keep my food away from anything that contained gluten & were very knowledgeable. Had the best filet minion & creme brûlée.

Fabulous steak and garlic smashed potatoes. Followed by chocolate torte. Very good dinner- gf options on menu but caution as some of them had regular pasta as a side. Waiter was helpful.

This was a wonderful dining experience! They list all GF options on the menu and were able to answer my questions. The manager himself made sure to speak with me and check to make sure everything was great. I definitely recommend eating here.
