The pizza is amazing! Chef "Bronx" Johnny is not only genuine, friendly and entertaining, he's truly a culinary artist! Seriously! The tomato bruschetta pizza is incredible! If I could eat only one more pizza in my life, I'd go to Anthony's Pizza for a Chef Johnny creation! As to gluten free protocols, Johnny makes it very clear that while they do their best (separate knives, etc.) the pizza does go in the same oven as wheat based pizzas. I'm not technically diagnosed with "celiacs" but I am VERY wheat sensitive. I had no problem. But, as Johnny is quick to warn, he cannot guarantee against cross contamination. If your condition permits, you'll find Johnny's pizza crusts are light years better than your normally prepared gluten free crusts.
