After seeing reviews of this location and their menu marking items as gluten free I decided to try their Bombay Aloo with basmati rice. I have a sever gluten allergy so I have a NIMA gluten tester I always make sure to use when trying new places.

Unfortunately, both the Bombay Aloo AND the rice tested positive for containing gluten :( I don’t know if it was cross contamination or the menu being misleading.

Would not feel safe trying to eat here again.

I really enjoyed the food here, it was delicious. I figured pretty safe since they had GF options marked in the menu. But not sure how safe it is. I had a bad rash reaction on my arms the next day (DH). A little intestinal upset too. Also their bathroom was NASTY, you know what they say, a kitchen is only as clean as the bathroom. Possibly cross contamination going on.

My server wasn’t sure what celiac was, so he brought over the manager who said his little cousin also is celiac! That being said, he told me to not get the GF potato pancakes because they’re fried in the non-GF fryer. But, they had a bunch of other options like super yummy curry! Def check them out.

Amazing food! So many gluten free options identified clearly on the menu. Every dish was delicious.

Very nice curry and clearly marked GF items on the menu. Potato pancake starter was great too. Was fine afterwards.

Some of the best Indian food I’ve had. Got the medium spice chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, Bombay aloo, and papadam. They keep the papadam separate from the wheat breads. Gluten free is marked on the menu. Unlimited rice.

Items were marked gluten free on the menu and the server was knowledgable. All staff were friendly and food was delicious! This is in the popular/touristy State Street area and we walked to the waterfront after dinner. We would definitely return here.
