Review of Applebee's

This restaurant does not offer a gluten free menu, therefore you have to search their Allergen list for your meal. I ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken, which their allergen menu claims is wheat-free. We also ordered chips and salsa. This was put in as a Car side to go order. So we picked it up and left before looking at what they gave us. BIG MISTAKE. First, I had ordered chips and salsa and they gave us chips and spinach and artichoke dip, which is NOT gluten free. Second, our food was cold. Third, they did not give us silverware. And to top in all off, even after specifying I have a gluten allergy, apparently they we're not careful and I ended up having a reaction. I do not recommend eating here. Maybe things would have been different if we had eaten in the restaurant. But I won't be chancing it!
