A few gluten free options, pork chop very salty and food a bit fancy for our taste. They very kindly modified kids menu to make grilled chicken breast and veggies for 7 year old. Both celiacs did not have a reaction. Manager/welcomer thought gluten free was no seafood but fortunately our waitress was more knowledgable and we felt safe she would talk to the chef. They do not have a dedicated frier so not everyone was happy.
Very good with gluten free options. Felt safe. Restaurant and hotel are under new ownership.
Do not go here if you have any averse reactions to gluten. The waiters may be nice and the food may taste decent, but clearly they don't pay attention in the kitchen as not to cross-contaminate:I had a reaction during the meal, gastric distress following it, then I gasped awake in the middle of the night and couldn't feel my arms. Thanks for cross-contaminating and shooting my immune system to hell, Aquarius! And yes, of course I had spent time with the waiter, patiently exclaiming that this wasn't a diet fad; that I get sick; that they please pay attention. But no, 'twas the usual, "don't you worry your pretty little head off, it's all safe!"It's not. It's just another place misrepresenting that they can serve gluten-free food because they care about the money, not about human beings' health and safety.

Love this place! Have only had breakfast. Best breakfast place in Santa Cruz. Coffee is amazing! Gluten free toast, but they use the same toaster as gluten. Staff is very knowledgeable.
Recently stayed at the Dream Inn Hotel and was pleasantly surprised to find the attached restaurant had a menu with designated GF items. View was fantastic. Service was good. Food was flavorful.
