I went in the try haggis for the first time as I was told they did gluten free and dairy free haggis. It was gluten free and vegan (which worked out brilliantly). The meal was fantastic! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and didn’t make me feel like I was putting them out by asking for gf and df. So far as I could tell, there was only one option I could have, but it meant I was able to have a substantial meal rather than having to eat a salad, or not being able to eat at all. I would go there again!

Gluten-free, modern version of Haggis, neeps & tatties. Knowledgeable, friendly wait staff. Food was tasty. Recommend.

They were out of gluten-free Haggis, so the only other option was chips and some starter. Bit disappointed, but the staff was lovely.

An authentic restaurant in the heart of the old town. As a coeliac you can join in and experience the traditional dish of haggis, neeps & tattles. Nice presentation but get the Diane sauce with it (the whisky sauce isn’t GF), very tasty!. Good service as well!

This seems like the only place to get GF haggis in town. Our meal was absolutely delicious. Husband did not get sick. Would love to return. Not a lot of other options for GF as it’s a pub and most pub food is unsafe.

For GF? Safe enough, but only due to the fact that 2-3 of the menus items are marked gluten free. Edinburgh seems really onto the GF knowledge, so maybe you might find better options for quality cuisine with great choices, but at least this place seems safe.

There aren’t a lot of food options, but the options there are are really great. The service was fine, although it’s clear that some servers are really good and others not so much... we happened to have the not so much, but I think she was the exception... gluten free haggis! I had the sausage and it was spectacular.
